I like the way that it detects that it is in ...
I like the way that it detects that it is in water immediately. I bought it for my own use as an adult, and although it is clearly designed for babies I do find that the incessant beeping at temperatures over 40 degrees makes it unsuitable for me. You really do have to stir the water with your hands to get the thermometer to detect the actual temperature, and in the process you can estimate the temperature yourself. As another reviewer stated, it would be nice to have an on/off switch.

As with most bath ducks this is also top heavy ...
As with most bath ducks this is also top heavy and so rarely swims right side up - oh! and don't forget to buy some batteries, as it comes without ... (2* LR44 - I think!)

Seems to be adequately accurate and responsive (updates reading every appx 5-10 seconds)auto-detects when in water. When not in water, the display shows the time. I don;t see anyone using it as a clock so if i had designed it I would have made it to be blank to save battery.
