THIS is my sweetener
The media could not be loaded. I have found my new sugar substitute! I've tried this powder and another brand's liquid & this is the one I have subscribed to. (BTW: Make sure to dig around for the scoop. It's in there, but I had a hard time finding it...PROS:+ It's affordable (compared to others - including the liquid one I tried)+ There is ZERO after taste. I am really sensitive to flavors & alluose is the only one I know of that is not bitter, cooling, offensively sweet if I get it on my hands, etc. The closest one to this was a combo sweetener that was fine until I had to inhale. Every time I took a breath for the next hour, there was a slight cooling sensation on my tongue and in my throat.+ This can be used as is or I can make a liquid with it. I like the powder for baking/cooking, and the liquid for adding to coffee and tea.+ The bag seals up well.+ There is a little scoop included - but I had to dig, dig, dig to find it! LOL+ I did not experience any stomach issues, even though I added some to my coffee and tea all day, every day for about a week.+ GMO-free - which is very important to me.+ If this isn't as sweet as I'd like - esp with my coffee -I can add just a pinch of brown sugar & that does it for me.CONS:- This is much finer than expected. I thought it would be crystals/granules. It is very much like powdered sugar. I have to be careful when measuring it out.- I do have to be careful not to overuse this. I have CKD stage 3b & allulose is (mostly) not metabolized & is excreted through urine. This could add a bit more strain to my kidneys, so I just limit my intake. Allulose is safer for my kidneys than sugar.- I have to use a little more than I'd like to get my sweet kick.- It is not as sweet as sugar. Some people say that it is 70% as sweet as sugar. I think it's more like 60% based on what I need to use.- The bag is a bit of waste. It is 2lbs of product, but there is a lot of settling. It could be in a bag half the size,Overall, I am SO happy I found this because it helps me cut down on or, in some cases, cut OUT - sugar. I keep half the bag as is, and make a liquid with the other half.

Best sugar substitute
Im so happy I found this sugar. Im type 2 diabetic. Just smelling a candy bar spikes my blood sugar. I tried all the other non sugar sugars and nothing compares.Allulose is excellent replacement for cain sugar. It tastes the same without any aftertaste. It cooks the same, browns the same, has nearly the same texture. Its a little more powdery so using it for sugar coated cookies is different.I make ice-cream alot. I add about 20% more if substitute for sugar. I have done blind tests with friends and no one can tell. Its nice that I can make any recipe with out spiking my BS.Allulose is expensive. About 12 bucks at my store for 12 oz. This Amazon order makes it way cheaper.

You be the judge. Most people probably won’t need it; however, some may…
Pros:-A sugar substitute that doesn’t increase your glucose level.-my husband tells me there is no aftertaste-it’s simple to swap it out for sugar, 1 for 1.- it dissolves easily and does’t change the texture of his coffee.Cons:-PRICE! YIKES! $29.99 + tax for 6 lbs of sugar that has a 1 for 1 swapping value! (note avg retail cost of sugar is currently in 2025, $1.046 per pound x 6 lbs. = $6.28). That’s a 477.5% increase in our grocery bill for one item.🧐If it helps his health, it’s worth it. If he is just a following a popular fad…I hope it’s over quickly! IMHO,🤔 That’s an absolutely ridiculous increase in cost and someone’s grocery bill, unless you need it for some health reason. That being said, some people, like those with diabetes, may need something like this as a replacement to sugar. Therefore, I only took one star off, because of the huge cost difference, and the fact that my husband likes it.

My favorite sugar substitute - no aftertaste
We have been carnivore for just over a year, and we recently tried a carnivore cheesecake for a birthday. The allulose is I’d say a little less sweet than white sugar or stevia. It dissolves great in hot liquids, I use it in my coffee. It was great in the cheesecake. I wanted a large quantity so I could experiment with baked goods for kiddos. We enjoy baking together, but I want to limit the amount of white sugar used and consumed. This is a huge bag. The only thing I’m unsure of is how this is derived. I know some allulose is made from corn rather than other fruits. And that is the only downside for me. Although I dont know how or if that causes the end product to be absorbed any differently by your body.I find less gastric upset with this compared to other sugar subs. It is def my go to. I like the benefit of aiding blood sugar levels.

Great value
An excellent product and value. As others have said, this is more powdery than granular. One point that other have said that it is not sweet: I'm guessing folks don't realize that a typical Splenda, etc. packet is the equivalent of TWO TEASPOONS of sugar -- say it right on the packet -- yet it has nowhere near that amount of bulk. Combine that with the fact that it is a bit less sweet than sugar and then, yes, if you use the equivalent quantity of allulose as a typical packet you may feel like it's not sweet at all....

Completely unsweetened allulose
We have been using allulose for months now and it's probably our favorite sugar substitute our normal brand has been sold out for awhile now so we bought this to see if it would work instead. But it is flavorless. Like literally no taste or sweetness at all. You can put a whole tablespoon in your mouth and it taste of nothing. Amazon wouldn't let me send it back either. Texture is typical of allulose and it dissolves like allulose, but the taste is nothing like what we are used to from our other allulose experiences l.

Works well for cookies and tastes fine to me
Made chocolate chip cookies with this stuff a couple times. Seems to be a bargain for what seems to be real allulose. No complaints so far :)
