I have a gold Vostok watch thats working perfectly but wanted a silver colored one as well. These watches are very well made and reliable, excellent quality. For a comparable watch from other sources you’d expect to pay at least twice the price. I’m very pleased with these watches and get compliments on them often.

Es un reloj excelente, la mica es más resistente de lo que parece (ya le di contra un mueble por accidente). El tema de la corona, ese “embrague” es para proteger el mecanismo a la hora de atornillar la corona, para no romper el muelle principal.

I ordered this watch as a complement to my vintage Vostok tanker watch. That watch is silver, and the one in the pictures looks silver. The watch I received has a brass finish, which, while it looks very fancy, was a surprise to me. It also runs a little fast. A watchsmith can regulate that, but I would expect it to run fine out of the box. On the positive side, the tick marks on the dial glow in the dark, and the vaporwave bomber design is truly unique.

I love the history, the toughness, the reliability, the simple, no nonsense appearance, the mechanical movement, and the affordability.The beat error on my watch is around 0.4 and it is running fast by around half a minute a day. That can be adjusted but I really don't have the need.The strap buckle is too wide for an 18mm strap size and the tongue is too soft; it will frequently come out. Having said that, straps can be replaced and I have ordered a NATO style strap. In the meantime I am using another velcro type strap. Vistok used to sell the warches without the strap so the strap is just a relatively recent addition.If you wear this watch regularly, it does tend to be more accurate.I haven't scratched the acrylic "glass" yet and I have been wearing it for a month.Once you start wearing it, it grows on you. You will actually bond with it.In the future, I will defin buy more Vostoks.The only thing that I didn't like was the three months it took to ship to Canada. But it was worth it..For those who criticize this watch because it is Russian made: Please set aside your political differences and support the workers who make decent products, workers who really dont care about politics.
