I’ve just been puttering around my house looking for things to fix. I love that you can spend as much time getting the pieces lined up as you want before you hit it with the UV and harden the resin. So much nicer than superglue or epoxy in that respect. I don’t think it bonds as well as superglue or epoxy. I’ve already had to go back and re-repair a little decorative piece on a soap dispenser that I reattached with this stuff. It’s brittle and if the UV can’t hit it, it won’t harden, so flat, opaque surfaces are going to be a challenge- but if that’s what you’re working with, just use superglue. This stuff excels at tiny, fiddly fixes like ornamental pieces and toys. It is a little pricey. The cure time is longer than I expected- maybe the included UV light is just weak but I was holding it for 30 seconds, not 5. I haven’t had to clean up any spills but I suspect that could be a problem- not as bad as CA glue of course. All in all I’m very happy to have this in my toolkit.

Best little tool I’ve bought! I’ve used it to repair so many different items. Great on glass, small ornament breakages, cover up glitter. Love that it’s UV CURing too. Not a bad smell either and everything has held up very well when used on for the appropriate application. It’s a game changer too bc it dries in minutes and even seconds!

Worked perfectly on a delicate repair of a small ornament.

I am trying three products: Flashfix, Bondic, and Let's Resin. Let's Resin is the most generous of the three: there is more liquid plastic in the bottle. Which is good. The liquid is also thicker than the other two; so it will work better for applications where the goal is to build up thickness. Finally its flash light is the best: it is easy to hold and use AND it is rechargeable; YAY! So, in the end all three do the job. Flashfix comes in a nice, durable little plastic box. The kit offers very useful items: it has a soft scruffing file to abrade any surface you want to work one. This is great! The blue light flash light is very easy to use and works well. Its battery is insulated until you are ready to use; so it remains charged until your first project. And, they include some alcohol saturated wipes to wipe out the residual tackiness when the plastic has cured. The only downside of the Flashfix kit is that the bottle is not full; in fact it only has a little of the liquid at the bottom. The product itself works well. Bondic comes in a very good metallic etui. The applicator is very precise and easy to use. But the light is very hard to keep activated: it demands far too much thumb pressure. The product works well. The light's issue is a defining issue for me: I do not have the grip strength to use it; this is why I ordered the other two kits to try. I don't know yet how much liquid plastic is actually in the shank.

This glue is very handy and super fast setting. Works great for clear glass repairs, but also can be used an external repair in other applications that don't pass light. The UV light is rechargeable and the glue remains in a (somewhat thick) liquid state until the light is used, allowing for positioning of pieces prior to the glue setting. I have not had much luck with super glue as a general rule, but this glue has been great in the situations where I needed a quick repair. I am not sure about bond strength for anything that will have any significant stress applied - have not tried an application like that yet, but where you might otherwise use super glue or epoxy to make a repair, this might suit the need, or at least hold the parts in position while you apply some other bonding agent. Within just a few seconds, the product is set - no running, and you don't have to hold the pieces together for long.

It actually cures pretty quickly, but the durability is poor. The smell isn’t too strong, though. If you’re just putting this on top of something instead of physically assembling it, I recommend this product. However, if you’re trying to hold something together strongly, you’d be better off using Gorilla Glue because this product doesn’t hold anything together.

Really good product, for a good price!! The resin does take longer than listed to harden, but I dont see an issue with that, personally. It works great! I put it on keychains to make them more shiny and have a protective layer:) Would recommend!

I had a Swarovski crystal ornament with two crystals that unattached from the main ornament body. We've tried many, many glass adhesives over the last two years but nothing held and took way too long to dry. We've used UV cured adhesives in the past for repair other non-glass items, so a search led us to this purchase. We wanted to make sure it was good for glass/crystal and would cure clear. It worked perfectly. We first soaked the pieces in acetone to remove all the old adhesive to ensure a good fit and adhesion. A tiny drop and a long burst (just to be sure) of the included UV light and my ornament is good as new. It cured perfectly clear and you can't see the repair at all. The bottle is enough to last for years if it doesn't dry out first. I'm sure I'll find other uses for this adhesive because it works so well. Highly recommend.

Es klebt alles wunderbar miteinander. Nur dort wo das UV-Licht nicht hinkommt, kommt es eben zu keiner Reaktion und der Kleber wird nicht fest, was eine zeitlich nicht limitierte Ausrichtung der zu verbindenden Teile zulässt. Bei einem normalen Sekundenkleber: Kleber drauf, Teil hingehalten, fest - nix mehr auszurichten. Dort wo das UV-Licht jedoch auf den Kleber auftrifft, tritt die Reaktion innerhalb von 5-10 Sekunden ein und es bildet sich eine feste Verbindung der zu verbindenden Teile. Ich hatte Probleme mit einem sehr filigranen Modell mit Klemmbausteinen; dort fielen immer wieder kleine Teile ab, ordinärer Sekundenkleber kam für mich nicht in Frage, da ich mit der Zeit dann sicher selbst Teil des Modells geworden wäre. So aber trug man an den gewünschte Stellen etwas Kleber auf, der eben ohne UV-Bestrahlung so lange nicht aushärtete wie man Zeit benötigte, um alles an Ort und Stelle zu fixieren. Dann 5-10 Sekunden UV-Lampe einschalten und schon war das ganze fest. Nun ist ist Modell fertig und ich bin voll zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Man muss jedoch dazu sagen, dass aufgrund der oberflächigen Verklebungen diese nun sichtbar sind, was für mich aber verschmerzbar ist, da der Kleber relativ transparent erstarrt. Wie stark die Klebeflächen belastbar sind, konnte und wollte ich nicht testen, jedoch sind von den von mir mittels diesem Kleber fixierte Teile nicht mehr abgefallen. Ob dieser Kleber einem reinen Sekundenkleber in Sache Klebekraft gleichsteht, muss man selbst prüfen. Zu erwähnen sein auch, dass sich die UV-Lampe sehr hochwertig anfüllt; zudem ist sie über USB aufladbar. Tolle Sache. Das Kleberfläschchen selbst ist mit einem Siegel versehen, dass den Kleber vor dem Auslaufen und Austrocknen schützt. Da der Kleber ohne UV-Bestrahlung nicht aushärtet, Beigelegt ist eine aufschraubbare Dosierspitze, welche eine feinere Öffnung für eine bessere Dosierbarkeit aufweisen könnte. Nach getaner Arbeit lässt man das Fläschchen eine Zeitlang stehen, so dass der Kleber aus der Dosierspitze zurücklaufen kann, dann wird diese Dosierspitze abgeschraubt und der Deckel des Fläschchens wieder aufgeschraubt. Am besten stellt man das Fläschchen an einem dunklen, trockenen Ort. Und ja, man sollte sich auf jeden Fall Einmalhandschuhe anziehen, denn der Kleber hinterlässt, auch wenn er nicht mit UV-Licht bestrahlt wird, eine klebrige Kontaktstelle, die schwer zu entfernen ist.

Great little kit. Managed to successfully mend a filigree bracelet and earrings with this, without the need for very tricky soldering. Also a small drop to just help secure small chain rings, just in case they open again. Even an earring post on the back of filigree earrings, yes there is big blob of resin at the back, but you can’t see it and so far so good and at least they can be worn again, will see how longevity goes :) For tricky work may help to need another pair of hands or some blue tack or equivalent to hold item still, applied resin and quick cured with the UV pen and then did a longer cure again using their UV mini lamp which is in another kit :)

Fonctionne parfaitement comme décrit. Je m’attendais à un résultat moyen vu un commentaire négatif mais au final fais parfaitement le job ! J’avais acheté de la colle PLA qui ne marchait pas, j’ai testé cette résine et la lampe UV et là : magie. La résine est un peu épaisse comme un gel et permet d’être placé facilement sur de petites pièces. Elle durcit vraiment en 5 secondes avec la lampe UV comme promis. Si on en a trop mis le résidu est transparent et s’enlève facilement. Je recommande !

As always this is a great make of UV resin and although I have a couple of different sizes of UV lights including a double one with the tray in the middle this little pen is great for very small UV hardening for example if I'm attaching an already made resin item to let's say an earring stud or similar, definitely very useful, recommend, good value for money, it's good quality resin and UV pen and easy to apply, very low odour at all, adheres well.

Ich habe diesen UV-Kleber für eine eher heikle Reparatur eingesetzt: den Austausch der Tastatur an einem Hewlett-Packard Laptop. Die originale Tastatur war nicht geschraubt, sondern mit Kunststoff-Nieten befestigt. Nachdem ich die Nieten vorsichtig mit einem Cuttermesser entfernt hatte, musste eine stabile und präzise Lösung her, um die neue Tastatur dauerhaft zu fixieren. Ich habe den UV-Kleber punktgenau an den Stellen verwendet, an denen zuvor die Nieten saßen, und anschließend mit UV-Licht ausgehärtet. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich beeindruckend: Die Tastatur sitzt bombenfest, nichts wackelt oder löst sich, und alles wirkt sehr sauber und professionell befestigt. Besonders überzeugt haben mich: die sehr einfache und kontrollierte Anwendung die schnelle Aushärtung die enorme Stabilität nach dem Aushärten Als zusätzlichen Praxistest habe ich mit dem gleichen Kleber auch den losen Griff einer Schere repariert. Auch hier hält alles perfekt und stabil. Fazit: Ein wirklich hochwertiger UV-Kleber, der sich hervorragend für präzise Reparaturen an Kunststoff, Elektronik und Alltagsgegenständen eignet. Hat mir bereits mehrere Neuanschaffungen erspart – klare Kaufempfehlung!
