With the popularity of a certain "I.V." brand surging, it's great to see some better options becoming available. I've always struggled to maintain my electrolyte balance, and after spending way too much money on sugary electrolyte beverages or overpriced, trendy mixes, I've finally found an effective and affordable option. No sugar, and the Smashberry flavor is actually pretty dang good, and is super easy to open and mix. Can't wait to order more!

I can't imagine diluting this in 8 oz of water. I mix it double or triple that amount of water and it has plenty of flavor. It has in my opinion plenty of sucralose and is sweet, especially if you don't water it down. It contains red #40, which again, in my opinion is not necessary. It says to not use more than the recommended dosage, which is one stick per day. I'm not seeing a high daily value of anything that would make this statement necessary.Watered down the flavor is good. A bit sweet. Made in the USA. I like a variety so I would probably order it again.

I don't drink a lot of electrolyte beverages, but it's nice to have something on hand in case I get dehydrated. To test this out, I added a packet to 10-12oz of water. I think you could get away with mixing this into a 16oz water bottle too, even though the instructions say to dissolve it in 8oz. The powder dissolved quickly, with no real need for stirring. Taste-wise, it's both sweet and salty, a little more artificial than what I'm used to drinking, but not bad. I don't love that it has artificial coloring in it. The a Prop 65 warning on the bag that this product could expose you to lead doesn't make me feel comfortable either.

I tend to lose a lot of electrolytes when I do yard work and get really sweaty doing so (I live in Souther Florida so it's pretty hot and VERY humid most of the year). I've found that the best way for me to replenish the mineral and fluid loss is through drinking electrolyte drinks. The primary criteria I have for electrolyte drinks is that they MUST be sugar-free. I've tried all different sugar-free brands over the years, and the flavor of them ranged from terrible to just OK to one that I tried before that has actually tasted very good. This Primeval Labs Electrolyte Powdered drink mix however, is one that I would classify as delicious! My first order was the Orange Sherbert flavor, and I have to say that it really does taste like Orange Sherbert! The percentage of US RDA of minerals is very similar from brand to brand (of the brands I've tried), so they all work pretty much the same for me (which is to say, very well). So why not drink the ones that taste great?This pouch of Primeval Labs contains thirty pre-measured single-serving packs that mix with 8 oz. of water. It dissolves very well, even in cooler water (some of the brands have a hard time fully dissolving in cooler water). 8 oz. is not typically enough for me - I usually lose at least 1.5 pounds to 2 pounds or more of fluid during my yard work sessions (up to about a quart plus), so when I tried this brand the first time I used TWO packs mixed in about 18 oz. of water and it didn't taste too watered down to me. And I could feel the difference afterwards - refreshment seeping into my body! Next time I get it, I'll try one of the other flavors. My wife said that the strawberry banana sounded wonderful to her - but I don't know, the Smashberry sounds intriguing also. Great stuff!

This mix was extremely sweet and its made with too many chemicals
