PoE power to charge Arlo cameras
I needed a way to get power to the far end of a building to keep an Arlo wireless camera charged all the time. I used this to carry 12v of PoE power from a spare port on a network switch, across to the building, convert it down to 5v USB for the Arlo charging cable, and the magnetic charger end on the bottom of the Arlo. Provides exactly what I needed to that camera, for $11 versus installing the ugly short cable solar panels Arlo or Wasserstein sells. Plus, this adapter future proofs if I switch to any kind of camera in the future I have USB charging power at that corner of the building.

They worked!
I bought these for some wifi security cameras. They worked exactly as expected; however the cameras were incompatible. Sadly, they were of no use to me.

Supplies power and data
So this does work - for certain things. I’ve powered IP cameras and a RaspberryPI, so it does function for power. With that said, the ethernet cord coming off it does not seem to be connected to anything. The page states that it’s 10/100 but I haven’t had a link light appear on anything that I’ve plugged it into. I believe that this splitter is only for USB power and the ethernet Is not connected to anything. With that said, no issues - just know what you’re getting. Edit: after some research with similar products - data does actually work but you must manually set your ethernet port/switch to 100mbs (not auto or gigabit) - update rating to 5 stars!

Remote power for Raspberry Pie
I have a few Raspberry Pi 3B+ units around my how to provide music from a server. These unit works fine and eliminate having to put the Pi's near an outlet for the wall wart. I'm going to get some more for other devices that connect to the network and need power from wall warts.

Works great with Wyze cameras!
I replaced an older PoE camera with a Wyze camera and this adapter worked great. This was the lowest price adapter I could find to get the job done.

Great PoE adapter to power multiple devices!!
I've purchased three of these and have been testing them for some time... They are very reliable and have allowed me to use more PoE functionality from smaller devices that I would have been burdened with having to run annoying power/usb cables. So far I have these powering a Philips Hue Bridge, Wyze Cam v2 and a Broadlink RM4 Pro. All of these run great with no issues. Would happily purchase one again!

This is a PoE stripper not splitter
The name and description of this device is misleading. This is a PoE stripper, NOT splitter. I purchased this item to split off PoE power at the end of an ethernet cable that powers a camera. If the description were correct, it would split off 48V to power the 5V DC-DC and pass the 48V power to the next device. This is NOT how this product works. All it takes is one look at the RJ45 plug coming out of the device to see that it is impossible to pass power through this device on ethernet cables (it missing 4 wires). What this product does. It takes power and data into the female RJ45 connector, strips the power, and passes the data to the male RJ45. Please update the description of this product!

Macht was er soll

Fantastico. In più lo split ha anche un’uscita Ethernet per poter collegare qualsiasi telecamera non POE. Consigliatissimo!!!
