A pinch of this spice adds a little kick to anything from my avocado salad or sandwich to my fish or rice. Also add a smidgen to mother's meat meals for more flavour depth. Add with caution as can blow your head off lol

I've always liked the way Schwarzwald spices are packaged, nicely designed, attractive and well made bottles. Containing a good quality Chilli with a reasonable but not excessive heat and good flavour profile. Not bad value but if you do tend to use quite a lot of a spice then much better value to buy online or at a local store in the larger bulk bags. This is good for convenience, a decent quality and for a family that uses infrequently as an ingredient or as a seasoning in smaller quantities. Even though I find it inexpensive when compared to the price of a bulk bag I can't justify that fifth star.

We were hesitant to buy any hot pepper spice outside of the Indian shop, but took a punt during lockdown, and found it to be really good to meet the authentic Indian taste.

However, be warned: if you're not a fan of spice then use it sparsely or it can overpower your meal. Overall, the Cayenne Chilli Pepper brought a pleasant kick to my meal. Highly recommended for those seeking a delicious meal with a kick!

This Schwartz Cayenne Chili Pepper comes in a small glass jar, but there is nothing small about the kick you get from just a few pinches in your cooking...it can be added to anything for real flavour.
