Inspiring and Educational Book for Logo Designers
I recently read Logos That Last: How to Create Iconic Visual Branding, and it’s a fantastic book for anyone interested in logo design and visual branding. The book is very educational and inspiring, especially for designers who want to understand how iconic logos are created. It explains the thinking behind icon design, brand symbols, and the creative process, which makes it very valuable for both beginners and experienced designers. What I liked most is how the book breaks down real design ideas and practical approaches rather than just theory. It gives you a better understanding of how to build logos that are simple, memorable, and timeless. Overall, it’s a very inspiring read and a great resource for designers, brand strategists, and creative professionals who want to improve their logo design skills. Highly recommended if you’re passionate about branding and iconic logo creation.

Incredible Graphic Design Logo Book, "LOGOS THAT LAST"
Congratulations to my friend and inspiring mentor, Allan Peters, on the launch of his incredible graphic design logo book, 'LOGOS THAT LAST'! My copy of the book arrived yesterday via Amazon UK. Your creativity and expertise have truly elevated my own design and creative projects. Thank you for being a constant source of motivation and inspiration!. Great stuff the book is awesomely awesome, every bit of it is inspiring. I would also like to give a shoutout to three other amazing influencers, Barnardco, Chrisdo and Made by James. Their unique logo ideas and patterns have played a significant role in my growth as an awesome logo brand identity creator designer. Together, these four incredible individuals have transformed my approach to design, and I'm grateful for the knowledge and inspiration they have shared. Join me in celebrating their exceptional work and talent! #LogoDesign #Influencers #Inspiration" Feel free to modify this message to fit your style and add any relevant hashtags that you think would be appropriate. So good I read it twice in two days 👍🏻
I have been following Allan’s work for a while so eagerly pre-ordered this book when I heard it was being released. The cover itself is a piece of art but inside is a comprehensive peek behind the curtain of Peter’s Design Co. In a time where the design community is being bombarded with noise about trends and the ‘next big style’, Allan’s book reminds us that logos should stand the test of time. His simplistic yet powerful and engaging style has inspired me to rethink how I operate my own design studio - thanks Allan 👍🏻

Some good nuggets of info in here
I read this cover to cover in 2 evenings, and even as a designer of 20 years, I came away with some good nuggets of information I can use in future. I did appreciate the personal tone (very similar to Draplins book) which made for easy reading. There isn’t a great deal of variation in styles here, so for straight up inspiration there isn’t much value here - but there is value in understanding the logic and idea behind the creation of each, which could be applied to any style. As another reviewer mentioned though, some of the political and religious commentary was off putting and probably better suited to a memoir.

One of the best logo design books
I was always fascinated by Allan's unique style and work. It's always simple and clean but also tells a story and is visually interesting. The same goes for this book. It's packed with invaluable lessons and great examples. The design, the content and even the printing are top quality. I cannot recommend this book enough for anyone who wants to up their game, learn and be inspired by The GOAT of Logo design.

A great way to sharpen up your branding process
Really enjoyed reading this book. The pagination of left hand page graphical and right hand page text turns an in depth logo mark and branding model into an easy to digest process that can easily add value to anyone’s workflow. There’s a simple honesty and modesty to Alan’s writing and approach that makes top level branding feel achievable whatever your current level of design skill.

A book worth reading
Logo that last is one of my top three logo book as a design instructor this book is enough to get you going in the field of branding so detail and interactive not boring to read the use of simple English and real life example makes it so organic and practical than just reading a textbook...This book made it to my top 3 list of logo book

Visually appealing collection of Allan Peters design process
Allan Peters does a phenomenal job walking us through his process to create one fantastic logo after another. This book is a visually appealing collection of his thoughtful designs. My one complaint is that there are several dark orange pages throughout with black text that was difficult for me to read. Other than that, I love this book and I'm so glad I bought it.

Fine for beginners, tiring for everybody else
Not really a "How to", more of a career retrospective.
