Crystallised Ginger 1kg by Manor Springs, All Natural, Sweet & Spicy Ginger Chunks - Perfect for Baking, Snacking, and Cooking - Vegan

This was my 4th order of this ginger. The first two orders were excellent - large chunks of very tender ginger and just the right amount of sugar. Sadly the 3rd order wasn't great as all the pieces were small and excessively coated in sugar with lots of sugar loose in the bag too, as it is was gathered from the bottom of a batch where only all the little pieces and sugar had ended up. It was even more disappointing as I'd ordered it as a gift for someone with Raynaud's disease as I'd read that it can help circulation for sufferers. As the first 2 orders had been so good, I decided to risk ordering again and am delighted that this order is even better! Really big pieces of lovely soft ginger, really tangy and delicious... if only it was always like this. Disappointed that the price has jumped from £9 to just under £14 now though.

Great product. Ginger is very spicy and tastes great. The chunks can be a bit big for snacking!

Out of the 3 times ive bought this item, the first 2 orders were lovely, I've been suffering severe sickness throughout my pregnancy and found crystallised ginger really helps, but it was so moreish I would just happily sit and snack on it or crave it which was fine, the ginger was quite hot which I loved. The last bag that I bought however wasn't nice at all, lots of very dark pieces that when I bit in to them was like chewing on wood and a sort of chemically taste from a few of them. I ended up throwing around 1/3 of the bag due to it being inedible. Really disappointed in the last bag

Previously I had purchased dark chocolate covered ginger, to eat as a treat, but then was disappointed by the tiny pieces of ginger inside. That's why this time I went for ginger with visible sized pieces. On opening the pack, I was very pleased!Things liked:*Mainly large sized pieces (on average 1.5 inches across)*A real spicy kick that lasted*A reasonable price (£10 for 1kg)*Health benefits offered by ginger*A resealable packThings not as good:*Large sized pieces so the pack disappears far quicker!Overall, I would definitely buy this again, highly recommended!

Excellent quality Christalised ginger

Ginger glorious ginger- more even than Oliver could eat. And at half what I normally pay……

Switched to this ginger from my normal brand based on the reviews of this ginger, overall very dissapointing, the taste of some of the pieces are good, but mostly they have an old stale taste to them.The pieces are extremely large which may be ok depending on preference, but with these I found that the amount of sugar was pretty ridiculous and due to the sugar been clumped together on this massive pieces of ginger, every chunk was gritty, basically like eating sand, not a pleasant texture.I would not purchase this product again.

bought these as a way to have ginger 🫚 for my immune system. They taste like ginger you can tell it's chunks of ginger dipped in sugar sweet on the outside a little spicy on the inside.The quantity is huge, so it will last me a long time
