Stephen King's The Dark Tower: Beginnings Omnibus

To see everything play out and drawn beautifully, is a treat.

First the book filled in a lot of back story, which is great......but if you are anything like me, you wanted all the books. The complete collection, but they stopped being made. They are only releasing the first 3 books as the company producing them went under, tanked, not exactly sure, but they will not be making the rest either at all or only the Lord knows when. So I returned the other 2 as after some consideration, why bother? I enjoyed the book thoroughly, but why bother with 1/3 of the story. Yes each book, (book one was 5 books) but equal to buying the first book) so I hope this helps.

One of the best graphic novels I've ever read. Amazing illustrations and some amazing quotes in the dialogue as well. I loved the narrator text boxes in addition to the dialogue itself. I've always felt like The Dark Tower series was lacking in world building, but this adds a lot to Roland's world.

Great book good quality

First off, absolutely incredible artwork by the greats Jae Lee and Richard Isanove! The incredible story by Stephen King adapted by Peter David… Peter, you are Marvel’s “Peter Jackson”, sir. The pages are marvelous. The experience is something that which the film could not deliver. No matter how much money was thrown at it. Ladies and gentlemen if you want the true experience from the novels? Come here. I’m here to tell you now that what you are purchasing is an exact copy of what was originally provided in the Dark Tower Graphic Novel Set, which is now out of print. RIP. However, I feel that it’s an unfortunate oversight-by Marvel-to not issue this in a Deluxe format. This is honestly something that belongs in a larger format. It’s unfortunate. And yes, the book is shorter on the shelf than your typical Marvel Omnibus. It sits at just above trade paperback height with it’s hardcover. Hopefully a true Omnibus in Deluxe format will be coming soon. For this however, I believe the price to be a bit high for this reprint. Wait until it goes down a bit. Cover price is $99.99 That is why I give it 4/5 stars. Looking forward to the continuation in The Gunslinger.

A very complete set of ALL the graphic novels. An excellent companion to Kings epic series. A true fan will love it. It fills in a lot of blanks from the novels.

My book came in near New condition, there were some small markings looked like from a pencil or something. Otherwise the book is in perfect shape and is a beautiful piece of a collection.

The item itself I can't fault. Good price and I received on time. The only issue I have is the packaging, Three large books in a single padded envelope. By the time I received it, it was ripped open in several places by the corners of the books plus the opening hadn't even been stuck properly. The books cost almost £200, I though that would have at least warranted some sort of protection. Luckily none of the books were damaged. How? I have no idea.

And the gunslinger follows... Beginnings is a masterpiece. The art is entrancing. The book is large and sturdy . For those that loved the novel or may need help with visualizing the world and characters this is a must have
