I was not comfortable using the product after I received it. The salt appears to have quite a bit of salt dust. I don't think it is something that I would want to inhale. It's possible I don't fully understand its functionality, so giving it 3 stars, as I'm not sure if it functions or not.

The salt inhaler is an interesting device. It comes with the salt that you put inside of this ceramic pottery like device. The instructions are clear telling you how to use it. This is supposed to help with your breathing and also can help is snoring at night. It seems like it has helped improve my respiratory system

This is a very nice ceramic holder and the salt seems very good. It certainly is simple and can be used as an inhaler through the mouth or you can block one nostril and inhale through the other. There are even some basic studies that have some mild positive reviews of this process.I am not sure whether the positive effects are from the salt or from a placebo effect, but most of what I have read says it is not harmful.Yet, there are exceptions. I got this for my friend who was having a lot of sinus issues that were draining and making her cough. She tried this and it caused a reaction where she coughed quite a bit. No harm done, just unpleasant. So *warning* - if you are coughing a lot, don't use this to inhale through your mouth or else it might irritate you.

Used this product for a couple of days and I can't tell any difference. There is no change in the quality of my breathing and I cannot give it a positive review. I think a menthol inhaler or an altoid does a better job and is easier to use.I wanted to revise my review to indicate that the seller is very reputable. Even though the product did not work for me personally, the seller offered to refund the purchase and reached out to me. That shows integrity in my opinion. Certain products work for some people but not others so if this one works for you great! If for some reason it doesn't know that the seller is interested in customer satisfaction. I have changed my initial one star review to three based primarily on the reputation of the seller and the convenient willingness on their part to maintain a high level of customer service.

So, I have terrible allergies right now and can barely breathe. I use this it was very easy to install the salt. It is a interesting concept I did it for about 5 minutes and I didn't really get it besides maybe it helps with breathing exercises. I then plugged one side of my nose that must of been not that plugged and I could barely inhale and exhale. Not sure why or what happened so I am going to try to do that for a couple times and see if it helps my allergies but as of right now it does not and just seem like a very expensive breathing tool. Once in a while I get a very salty taste from the salt. I really like the idea of this but for me it just isn't working how I thought it would.

I have used it a few times now and am happy with my congestion relief. It is easy to use but takes some getting used to with a little irritation. I am only using it for 10 minutes a day starting out. I will increase to maybe 15 minutes a day depending on my continued relief.

My unit arrived incomplete. It has no plug for the bottom but I will find an alternative. I was still able to place salt in the inhaler and test it out. Its pretty simple to use, you draw air through it and the effects of the salt are present in the air intake. It claims to help with breathing difficulties and is sure to affect sinuses as well. The PROFIRST Salt Inhaler Pipe also has a cool, folk-era design that makes it interesting just in design.

I have had no negative problems with it. It is made of ceramic and it does come with some Himalayan Salt Crystals which can easily be purchased in a local Supermarket if you run out.
