All four movies from the popular action franchise starring Sylvester Stallone. In 'First Blood' (1982), disturbed Vietnam veteran John Rambo (Stallone) spends his days wandering from town to town, searching out his old service colleagues. When he resists a local sheriff's attempts to make him leave town, he is arrested for vagrancy. While in prison Rambo is forced to endure the abuse of a sadistic deputy, until he escapes and takes to the woods, relying on his old army skills to survive. In 'Rambo - First Blood Part II' (1985), Rambo is serving time in a federal prison when his old commander, Colonel Trautman (Richard Crenna), arranges his release. A group of American soldiers are still being held as prisoners of war in Vietnam, and Trautman wants Rambo to return to the killing fields on a daring rescue mission. In 'Rambo 3' (1988), Rambo has entered a Buddhist monastery in a bid to find inner peace. However, when his friend and mentor Colonel Trautman is captured in war-torn Afghanistan, Rambo sets out to save him. Finally, in 'Rambo' (2008), since helping the mujahedeen rid Afghanistan of the Russians, John Rambo has been living a quiet life in northern Thailand, trapping poisonous snakes to sell to local entertainers. But when a group of human rights missionaries pleads with him to ferry them upstream to Burma to re-supply the oppressed Karen tribe, Rambo reluctantly agrees. A few weeks later, however, word filters through that the missionaries have been taken hostage by the Burmese military, who are using them as pawns in their local war. Knowing the hostages have no other hope of rescue, Rambo sets out into the heart of the jungle on a one-man mission to hell and back. Review: Rambo is one of my favourite movies. Rambo is one of my favourite movies. I'm so pleased I've got the boxset on Blu-ray now. The only movie missing from this boxset is Last blood which I also brought on blu-ray. I have seen these movies countless times but I still enjoy them as much when I first saw them. Definitely worth buying and owning.

For each Rambo Fan a must have!
First: It is Blu-Ray and not a cheap copy of the DVD. From movie to movie it gets even better. The sound is well mixed. That means that you are not pushed from your seats when explosions occur. The balance between speach and effects is perfect. Except of the fourth part "John Rambo" you have nearly no extras. Only one interview with Sly, but this is worth a look. Of course there are no cuts. You can enjoy the complete movies. This is interesting for german costumers. They also find the uncut german-version on this. Very nice. Good quality, price is fair. Clear recommandation!

Great Series of films
This is one of those sets you need to have if you are a Rambo fan. And it never gets old, no matter how much you watch it. I am a big Rambo fan and this was something I had to have in my collection. The first and second ones are the best films in the set but you couldn't have the first 2 without the 3rd and 4th film. These are one of the best Sylvester Stallone film sets I have ever watched and they are well worth having in any collection.

Rambo fait partit des films culte de mon enfance, mais voilà, les version DVD ne sont pas top, surtout pour rambo 1 ou il y a comme un film blanchâtre constamment. J'ai testé cette version Blu-ray, et bah ceux qui ne l'ont pas doivent remédier au problème ! On redécouvre la trilogie comme si elle venait de sortir, des paysages somptueux aux couleurs profonde et chaleureuse, un Stallone en full HD juste remarquable lors des gros plan sur le personnage (on voit parfaitement chaque détails, chaque goûte d'eau sur son corps). Le son est travaillé en DTS 5.1, évidemment ce n'est pas un vrai 5.1, mais il y a quelques effets bien sympa, ce qui en + de l'image, permet de vraiment redécouvrir ces films et de replonger dedans pour nôtre plus grand plaisir. EXCELLENT travail pour cette réédition, à acheter les yeux fermer ! ! ! Quand au 4, pas grand chose à dire, quand on prend ce coffret, c'est surtout pour profiter de la remasterisation des 3 premiers (surtout du et 1 et 2).

also alle Filme sind 100% uncut und teil 1-3 sind mit deutscher sprache auswählbar (das schreib ich weil das viele wissen wollen). Aber der 4. Teil "John Rambo" ist NICHT in deutscher sprache. Dennoch TOP KAUFEN! :)

Le militaire le plus connus de la planète revient pour exploser votre écran en Full HD. L'image restaurée des trois premiers films leur redonne un petit coup de jeune. Quant au dernier, la qualité suprême d'image et de son en fait une véritable bombe. Voilà de quoi (re)découvrir cette saga qui a permis de changer le regard de l'Amérique sur les vétérans du Viêt Nam et de lui donner un symbole grandement utilisé par Ronald Reagan en personne. Une saga culte à avoir chez soi... quand on aime les films d'actions des années 80.
