Lots of detail
We found it difficult to do as too much detail on the pieces. It was hard to find known landmarks.8 and 68 year olds

Flimsy pieces and overcrowded image of the UK, but educational
Bought this for my young children to learn more about the UK. The puzzle image itself is rather crowded, but colourful and attractive to my kids. It was a pretty difficult puzzle for my 6 year old, so most of it was completed by me, but the pieces were fairly big. We saved the place names for the end, so as to give our kids a better understanding of cities in one go. I think it worked and doing this puzzle a few times should improve their geographic knowledge. It would have been better to have a distinct line between each country as the kids find it hard to understand that the UK is made up of different countries. Some areas seemed cluttered, but all in all it seems like a great educational tool for them. It was a lot of fun, but it took a few hours and the kids' interest waned a little.

Good quality, lots of detail
Good quality, lots of detail. Box suggests 7+, my 7 year old needed lots of support, but was happy to help and find the bits I asked him to look for and he could then begin to assemble pieces together. The city names are a bit fiddly and a larger foldable picture of the jigsaw map might be more beneficial to help younger members of the family see clearly what they need to look for next. A good purchase but not an independent activity for the younger users.

Great little jigsaw!
I actually bought this as a farewell gift for our 21 year old French teacher who was returning to France after a year's teaching experience here. Jigsaw puzzles are not hugely popular there and she had never done one before, so it was good that it was a small one. It was meant to be a fun gift, and something to help her to remember her time here in the UK. She was delighted with it! The little pictures by the place names - e.g. Shakespeare by where Stratford is - are a really good way to help geographical memory! In fact we bought the same jigsaw last year for the previous French teacher in exactly the same circumstances......and would do so again. I am sure that it would be great for the age for which it is actually intended, and I would have no hesitation in buying it for a junior-aged child as a gift.

Too Difficult
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She is 6 years old and as it states suitability from 5 years old, I thought she would manage it OK.I took a 6 year old, a 40 year old and a 70 year old together over 2 hours to complete the puzzle!.I don't think we are thick or stupid but this puzzle is much to difficult for the age it states on the box.

Good fun
Grandson loved this. He is six and has a great interest in places, mountains etc so I thought the puzzle would familiarise him with the geography of Britain. When I first saw the puzzle I thought the illustrations were rather dense and confusing, but with his young eyes, he had no problem. In fact he really took to the challenge and achieved a lot by himself. It turned out to be a family event with grandparents, parents and little sister getting involved. Good fun and educational.
