iFiiPower X Low Noise Power Supply AC/DC Adapter – Upgrade Your Audio/Video/Electronics (9V/2.5A)

Not going to lie I didnt expect much from this.. but when I say it is nevessary for anyone who cares about their audiophile setup I mean ITS NECESSARY.My K5pro amp hasnt sounded this good ever. Just testing this now with ananda nano and my god the sound is so much cleaner and the texture is much more pronounced.I thought at first this will only lower the noise level but its done much more for me, from what I can hear anyway. I haven’t even done a direct comparison I just put my headphones on after replacing the old power cables for the amp and immediately noticed the difference so would say it is significant and not a placebo.Quite expensive but for what it did for me I would say absolutely worth it.One note, you guys might find this makes the soundtrack a bit darker and increases the soundstage … for my ananda nano this was a great pairing as they are a tad bright for me and this was a good addition.

Ciao, sono veramente sodisfatto del prodotto " ifi", abbinandolo ad un'altro prodotto della stessa casa produttrice, come Zen Stream, Zen Dac , evidenzia un suono meno invaso da disturbi di segnale Elettrico.Grazie....Consigliato

Upgrade minimum pour un Zen Stream

Mi equipo es de cierto nivleillo. Unas BW 706S2, un Synthesis Roma 96dc, un streamer Arcam Rplay y en cables, bueno ya sabéis....el motivo de comprarla fue precisamente haber actualizado el cable de alimentación del ampli por un Audioquest...con el nuevo cable se me desmadro el equipo. Bajos insoportablemente presentes poco precisos e hinchados, agudos muertos ....vamos un desastre. Por otro lado había mejoras en los transitorios, profundidad de escena, dinámica. Tengo que decir también que me falta incluir una regleta en el equipo ya que tengo una barata, el equipo está en el salón enchufado con el router, la TV y más aparatos....si ya se eso es un desastre...la regleta se viene ya!!!..Intuía que este nuevo desastre provocado por el nuevo cable tenía otro origen, así que decidí cambiar la fuente de alimentación del streamer por esta y joer con la mejora, no es sutil. No sólo ha desaparecido el problema de los graves...todo ha mejorado en especial la dinámica y la definición.... muy muy recomendable este cacharro...no ha habido en mi equipo una mejora tan significativa por el precio que ha tenido nunca antes.

Ursprünglich lag das iFi Power X längere Zeit ungenutzt in einer Schublade herum, nachdem ich es gegen das höherwertige iFi iPower Elite für meinen iFi Stream getauscht habe – übrigens eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Ein anderer Einsatz bot sich erst einmal nicht an. Ein AZ-Rezensent schrieb dann, dass er dieses Netzteil an einem Router nutzt und gute klangliche Ergebnisse damit erzielt hatte. Ok, dachte ich, nobel nobel - doppelt so teuer wie mein Standard-Vodafone-Router. Nach Prüfung der elektrotechnischen Möglichkeiten -12 V Spannung passt - Hand vor's Gesicht und rein mit dem Stecker. Das Ergebnis: Musste ich erst einmal lachen - wieder ein beeindruckender Klangzuwachs. Die Klangverbesserung war nicht nur subtil, sondern deutlich. Die Musik erschien detaillierter, dynamischer und insgesamt würde ich den Klang als souveräner beschreiben. Der iFi iPower X hat meinem Vodafone-Router regelrecht neues Leben eingehaucht und ihn in eine bessere Klangquelle verwandelt, hätte ich so deutlich nicht erwartet. Entspricht ja auch ein wenig der LINN-Philosophie: Die Quelle ist die Grundvoraussetzung für guten Klang. Ifi Audio scheint auch gute Hardware zu entwickeln. Wer ein günstiges upgrade sucht, sollte diese Wandwanze mal testen.
