I was hesitant to buy this set because the one solitary review at the time was not that positive. Some people have ridiculous expectations and are hard to please I guess. Glad I took a chance because this kit is pretty great imo and the price is right! If you want a large expansive professional kit… order one. This comes with all the basics you would need to do a complete poly gel set at home and a few things to experiment with design which I found fun to play around with. Pinks aren’t really my thing but I chose to buy this kit regardless because my main passion is nail art so the base will be relatively unimportant and predominantly pink seemed to be the most neutral color set to begin with. I was pleasantly surprised that this polygel had virtually no smell. I like to do my nails in bed in the evenings while watching tv with my husband so harsh smells are a no-no. I messed up on my pinky finger twice and quickly filing with my dremel a bit and an acetone soaked cotton ball removed the product very nicely and I was able to try again within a couple minutes. Really excited to start coming up with a bunch of designs to float within the nail and add dimension without the bulk of a zillion layers of gel polish. Once you add paint, foil, stickers, glitter etc the nails can start to look a little thick and unnatural so building the design from within the nail is a complete game changer for me. And I really liked that the tubes were 15g (1/2oz) because once opened they should be used within a year for best product results and to me it makes sense to have more color options in smaller sizes. I’ll probably buy a larger size in my frequently used favorite colors and a large tube of clear eventually. Not my best work and forgive my cuticles, (I root tap my hair without gloves for precision😬) but I thought a photo would be nice.Can I also state how much I love the TINY light it comes with! I have a large professional one I use also but this little one is so convenient and can cure a whole hand if you are so inclined. I attended an out of town wedding in the fall and thought it would be nice to paint my moms nails while hanging around the hotel all weekend but it was kinda annoying how much space my large curing lamp took up in my luggage on top of everything else I needed to bring. This light is literally smaller than my iPhone when folded up and is powered via usb cord. I could literally do my nails in the school pickup line if I wanted to! Some might call that weird but I call it utter convenience as a busy mom.

Don't make the same mistake I have made many times. Pay attention to the size labels. Everything in this kit is tiny. These are teeny tiny little tubes and bottles. Like a bunch of travel size shampoo and conditioners

I love this product!!! I never did my own nails before but this was way easier than I thought it was going to be. It takes about 7 minutes each nail. The picture I took was 3 of them and that's all I did so far today because my schedule is so busy. I'm finishing them tonight. I will never go back to a nail salon and pay $45 for a set. I paid $25 for this and can get like 10 to 20 sets out of it! This is a real game changer. For the picture I did a tiny amount of the sparkle gel on the nail form then put it under the light for about 5 seconds to set it a little bit then added the light pink to the form on top of the sparkle. That way it wouldn't be clear sparkle. Now it's a natural nail color with sparkle on it. Freaking amazing!!!

I really like this kit. This is my second kit from this brand and I’m loving the colors this one comes with. I’m still very new to poly gel and this is my third time applying them but each time I get better and better. Shaping has been the biggest challenge but I’m getting there ☺️

The low wattage of the lamp resulted in inadequate curing of the poly extension gel. Even after extended curing times, I experienced instances of uncured or partially cured gel, leading to a less durable and less professional-looking manicure. The weak light output significantly impacted the final result, leaving me dissatisfied with the overall performance of the kit.Moreover, the quality of the components in the Modelones Poly Extension Gel Kit was disappointing. The lamp itself felt flimsy and cheaply made, lacking the durability and reliability expected from a nail lamp. Additionally, the gel brushes and other tools provided were of subpar quality, with bristles that shed and handles that felt fragile. These shortcomings further added to the frustration and diminished the value of the kit.The lack of detailed instructions and guidance in the kit was another significant drawback. Clear and comprehensive instructions are essential, especially for beginners or those new to poly gel application. Unfortunately, the provided instructions were vague and lacked crucial information, leaving me to figure out the process through trial and error. This lack of guidance made the already challenging process even more difficult and time-consuming.Considering the difficulties in working with the poly extension gel, the inadequacy of the 6W Nail Lamp, the disappointing quality of the components, and the lack of detailed instructions, I cannot recommend the Modelones Poly Extension Gel Kit. The challenges in handling the gel and the lack of proper curing hindered the final results and the longevity of the manicure. For a smoother and more professional experience, I suggest exploring alternative options that offer better formulation and more reliable curing solutions. Regrettably, the Modelones Poly Extension Gel Kit falls far short of expectations and merits only a 1-star rating.

I’m glad I purchased this. It definitely takes some practice but once you get the hang of it you’ll be glad you purchased this nail kit too. Would order again.

The colors are so pretty and the polygels are easy to use. Modelones is a really good brand.

The kit is a good size, well stocked and put together, my only complaint is that the colors are lighter/brighter than pictured. They are a bit see through, as well.
