Best headphones I've ever had
Warning....Don't judge them on first listenRun them in for a good 10-20 before Bucks Fizz Eurovision WinnerOooops, silly me, I mean, before making your mind upInitially they sound nice, but not 500 pound nice depending on what you pay for themDo not pay more than £500 though as with Amazon the price variesI got them for 464 but then the price dropped to 419.... I asked Amazon to refund the differenceThey wouldn't, but I could return them and reorder for the priceI went to re order and suddenly the price was £500Such shady dealings with Amazon, really shadyAnyway....to the headphonesAfter running in, they really are lovely sounding\Not overloaded with Bass like a lot of these Beats headphones, which are completely overpriced because of the nameThe Bass is true, as in you actually hear the texture of a bass line rather than just some bass "noise"Instrument separation is very, very goodThe top end is what I would describe as smooth rather than overly detailedI mean, I getting on a bit, despite being 8-12 years old in the mind I'm actually middle aged..... what's middle aged you say? I dunno these daze I'd say 39-55 So as of the time of writing I'm somewhere in between thatMy hearing.. I can barely hear a 14khz tone now, so bear bare (how do you spell that?) in mindBut it's probably better than most chaps my age, because once you past 30, the fact is you really do start to lose the top end of your hearing whether you like it or notRight, to the top endThey tail off quicker than my Monito Audio Gold speakersBut sound a tad smootherSo ultimate detail might not be there if your ears need a bit of extra trebleBut they fit nice and are very comfy for long sessions, of listening that is 😊You really have to wear them in a reasonably silent room though, as being open backed you will hear outside noisesSo if you're thinking of having these on whilst sitting next to the wife/husband/man friend/girlfriend/thing friend/in between friend I'd advise against getting them as they really do leak sound rather loudlyI've had them a few months now, so I velvet, oops, I mean felt I could write a reasonable reviewAlthough reasonable I'm usually notGoodbye for nowPSAlso it asked me to give a star rating on "Sheerness" Seriously WTF is that all aboutI mean, is that a joke or you really want me to judge a headphone in relation to a place in Kent? Just nonsense, and I know nonsense when I see it

My new favourite pair
So glad I bought these, they were a treat and wondered if I should spend the money. Worth the price and value for money. The fit is very comfortable, does have not excessive clamp and light weight. I forget I have them on sometimes and even that they have a cable.Sound wise they sound pretty neutral to me, but I’m not an expert. You can hear more detail in the mix and instruments. Sound stage is not impressive but not bad either. I have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4s and although they are fairly easy to listen to they are far to bassy the point of being harsh and sound muddy, if you have been listening to these. Better frequency-wise, and more comfortable than a pair of oldish Grado SR225s.Yes they are open, yes there are other more practical headphones with noise cancelling and wireless features, and apps etc. But these are old school, no fuss and make you appreciate the music again.. easy to understand why they are fan favourites. Always surprised when I put them on.Only gripe is that the cable catches my nose and mouth when taking them off in a hurry. Theyre a bit underpowered on my iPhone, so you’ll need a dac or amp of some sorts. Works perfectly well on my MacBook Pro without extra amplification.Decent build quality, but sadly no decent case for your money.

Great sounding pair of open backed headphones (aside from lacking bass extension imo)
Another great pair of headphones, but were lacking the lower sub bass extension. Great soundstage though, and being open backed they are quite airy. They expose the best in instruments and the clarity is certainly there. Great value as I thought they would have been more expensive.Only took the one star off due to the lack of bass extension for my personal tastes.

Amazing sound, great quality build
Georgous sounding and looking headphones. Using this with my R6Pro II DAC and they bring my favourite songs to life. Fully recommend them the cost is great for the build quality, connector types, simplicity of swapping cable types and the overall sound profile. Cable length is more than enough for sitting at a PC or using a DAP whilst out and about.

Lively, engaging and fun.
I've added the 660s2 to my arsenal of headphones and IEMs as I have missed owning a full size open back headphone for several years. Although this is a 300ohm headphone, the high sensitivity means that you don't need a super powerful amp to get them very loud, bearing in mind that loud does not necessarily mean adequately powered though. Just out of interest I first tried them with my A306 Sony Walkman (UK version with the volume cap) and my Xperia 1iii phone using their headphone sockets, I expected them to be pretty quiet at max volume, instead both got the headphones plenty loud at about 75% volume, I was shocked, I have an IEM that needs to be played at a higher volume setting, they sounded very enjoyable. I then tried them balanced with an IFI Go Bar DAC/amp, that sounded even better, more energetic, better bass definition, notes more incisive. Same performance using the IFI Go Blu. The overall sound is full bodied, neutral-warm and engaging.Bass is great, not just for an open headphone but in general. The sound works with every genre I tried from trad music from across Asia to experimental electronic to jazz. I think if you found these to be bass light you've probably been listening to wireless headphones with the bass boosted for too long. They feel robust, very comfortable, I have a biggish head and found the clamp force to be fine. Cable is a length suited to use at a desk, feels very durable but I may have a shorter, lighter cable made for use with portable devices at home.I'm very pleased with the 660s2.

Great for big ears
Best headphones I have ever had, crystal clear with great bass, I use mine for gaming and they are stunning, they fit over the ear really well, having biggish ears cup size is important and these offer plenty of room for large ears. They are pricey but with price comes quality. Not over heavy they are comfortable on the head.
