Choose Wisely
In the end, I loved this book. I say that, because, in the beginning, I really didn’t like this book. I almost stopped reading it. That’s because it just seemed like two people bickering all the time. Not wanting to talk to each other and not finding out what the problem is. Sometimes being too stubborn is a hindrance.Haeden , and Josie have exchanged barbs from the beginning. And that’s the very beginning. When Haeden was the one to pick up Josie, because she was very pale, sickly and not doing very good, from the spaceship. He’s the one that carried her back to the cave. Since then all they did was argue with each other. They didn’t even think there was a reason. But, it turns out there actually was!I really like the way that this turned out. I enjoyed the end. And I don’t wanna put any spoilers out there., So I think that’s all you get! Great book, stick to it, and continue on as they say!

best so far
So far, this has been my favorite in this series! You know I eat up a grumpy x sunshine, enemies to lovers, he falls first book and this had it all!!! There were parts of the book where I was like “josie!! What are you talking about?? He doesn't hate you. That man is clearly OBSESSED” but if a guy talked to me the way Haeden did to her or acted the way he did… I too would not like it lol so i guess you got me there. Josie really grew in understanding Haeden by the end of the book and that’s all she was missing in the beginning. When she spent more time with him and getting to know him, she learned he speaks through actions. So all the times he was calling her weak, he was actually just really worried about her and it was eating at him. I wish we could have seen the same growth from Haeden. Yes, Josie grows to know that Haeden shows he loves her by what he does… buuuuut I would have loved to see Haeden show Josie affection and love the way she was originally wanting to be shown those things. Like yeah she's learning and growing to know those things aren't necessary but you can't tell me she wouldn't have loved it! I read one review of a different book in the series that didn’t like that the male of the book knew nothing about sex and I find the same fault with this book. Like sure Haeden is a virgin, but surely he would have known something about those things even if just from talking with the other guys. Overall, this was awesome and the best so far!

This was so good! I loved this enemies to lovers story! I sometimes just got really frustrated with Josie, but I guess I’m just a weeping heart that has a soft spot for Grumpy Haeden 😂

Barbarian's Mate
This was a good story. It's remarkable how this author creates such a variety of unique characters for each story.

Haeden & Josie
I was so excited for this story. Because enemies to lovers is my jam. But Josie took things over the top. She was so wonderful throughout this series so far, she was sweet and caring and lovable and helpful. And yes...I know Haeden was a meanie sometimes. But he was a hot sexy meanie. She became so freaking stubborn towards the mating. Mean to him, selfish even after knowing his past. Only wanted things to go get way not considering anyone else. She abandoned everyone. Put herself at risk. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. But thank goodness by the time I was so fed up with her that I wanted to throw my Kindle against the wall... She came to her senses & things turned around. Probably my least favorite book of the series so far... But I'm excited to see where we go next.

4.5 stars
Josie is the last single human female, and she desperately wants to resonate to someone, she doesn’t even really care who. All the single hunters are attractive and nice to her, she would have no problem being tethered to any of them. Anyone but Haeden. Her arch nemesis. So of course the very night her IUD falls out is the night that she resonates…to Haeden.Josie has felt rejected her whole life, being passed from foster home to foster home, bad experience to worse. All she wants is to be loved, to be cherished, and have a family of her own.Meanwhile, Haeden has felt a pull to Josie from the first moment he ever saw her. But as he lost a resonance mate when he was younger, any attraction or feelings for another terrify him. So he constantly pushes Josie away, making her think that he hates her for no reason.Oh Haeden! My poor, dear, sweet, wonderful Haeden. I always feel the unrequited love/rejection so strongly in these tropes! My heart absolutely broke for Haeden every time Josie rejected him or yelled at him. My skin actually prickled with sadness. If they had both just communicated better - or maybe even at all - they could have saved so much heartache. The travelling back to the home caves scenes though? Thoroughly Enjoyable
Great story. Personally, I think it says more about modern men than blue hairy aliens with tails. How untrustworthy they are, how they can make children then just wander off, how they can’t take responsibility for their mates, let alone their own actions. Modern men often seem unable to grow up and care about people rather than themselves. I was on the London Tube last week. Every seat was taken by healthy looking men in their 20s or early 30s staring intently at their phones. Plenty of women were standing. Possibly pregnant, possibly feeling rough due to menstruating, a couple way past youth. And it crossed my mind to ask, ‘What are men for?’ If you find a good one, you are lucky. No wonder Hayden is such a fantastic hero.

more tension filled sweet alien romance
4/4.5Josie and Haeden’s storyJosie resonates to the one person who she cannot stand in the whole tribe, surly, moody, Haeden. Haeden is not ready to trust and love again but his khui has other ideas. These two clash heads as they fight the attraction between each other to perilous consequences.I didn’t like how this one started but about half way i was hookedI wasn’t liking Josie and it seemed more miscommunication trope rather than enemies to lovers and I was frustrated with it but after a little while there were plenty of laughs and sweet tender moments and some steamy moments too 🥵Do love me some alien smutCan’t wait to carry on the story to find out more of what has happened

I love Josie.
But isn't this all a bit obvious? Long before this book and they resonated, I knew it was going to be the two of them. Ruby Dixon was laying it on a bit thick with the enemies to lovers.
