Seventh Generation Dish Liquid Soap, Free & Clear, 25 Fl Oz

Love this dish soap! It cleans really well and doesn’t leave any chemical fragrance on the dishes!

I have contact dermatitis, onset by "fragrance" and/or "parfum," and other chemically-derived inclusions found in most household and cosmetic products. Mainstay brand Seventh Generation and their Liquid Dish Soap is hard to top, as it contains no sulfates, phosphates, parabens, or triclosan, leveraging instead only plant-sourced cleaners to create bubbles and suds that melt away caked-on foods and pot and pan grease, and with no drop-off in efficacy from the harsh chemical baths of the past. It also reduces exertion and effort: I used to chronically soak pans and pots overnight, but now I tend to hand-wash them in real-time along with the dishes and plates, which speaks to its cleaning power. My sensitive skin is left supple and soft. Note, too, the great low-cost value here: At 25 ounces, this is a lot of dish soap for not much spend. - (Was this of use? First, I have a dishwasher and so just use this for things like pots, fragile things, I don't put in dishwasher. PLUSES: SCENT - THIS IS HUGE for me. I got Palmolive Pure and Clear. Such a strong scent, I got a headache. THIS HAS NO DISCERNIBLE SCENT which was what I wanted. PACKAGING - IT WAS SEALED. After reading reviews some people had it spilling in the box when it was delivered, I was kind of holding my breath to see, but nope, it had AN INSIDE seal. I had to take cap off to remove seal. SUDS/CLEANING - I read reviews where people said didn't suds up, didn't clean well for them. I didn't have that issue, but suds can depend on your water, whether it's hard or soft. I am just saying I didn't have an issue with suds or cleaning. Cleans my oatmeal pot well. INGREDIENTS - I know many people mentioned some ingredients they didn't like. I looked them up and found nothing re they were bad re a dish soap. I did see bad if one was in your soda. I have sensitive skin and am sensitive to scents. I ALWAYS THINK CAVEAT EMPTOR, let the buyer beware. If you have a concern, research. COST - HARD TO BEAT THE COST! I paid about three bucks for this and as it will last me for months as I use the dishwasher for most things, great price. CONS: I HAVE found none so far, doesn't mean you won't. For what I needed, it suits my purpose perfectly. TIP - +++++ I always DILUTE liquid dishwashing soap. I put it in a spray bottle, a little over 1/2 liquid soap, a little less than half water and tip it upside down to mix it. I then just LIGHTLY spray dishes rather than fill the sink because I only wash about three dishes a day. THIS MAKES the dishwashing soap easier to rinse off, I find my dishes still get clean and it saves money. MAYBE this wouldn't work for you, but works well for me.

I am about to order my second batch. Great product, clean, no scents for allergic people like me, --I check EWG before buying it--good price and deliverered on time. I don't give 5 stars because of the package. As many people have complained, the bottles are not secure enough to avoid leakage and its very annoying both the mess and loosing part of the product. I would like to join all others who have had the same issue and advises the manufacturer to do something about it.

I have been buying palmolive/Ajax dishwashing liquids in large quantities since they were so cheap. Once, I needed a dishwasher urgently and this was the most cost effective one available at whole foods so bought one. This small pack lasted longer than a 2x size palmolive hands down. Not just that, this product seems so gentle on the hand but is still concentrated enough to give a good lather on the dishes for a very good clean. I have come to realization that in the long run, this is far more cost effective than the other chemical based dishwashers given it lasts forever.

This is my go to dishwashing detergent because I have a lot of contact allergies and sinus allergies. This works well and does not cause me allergic responses. I would like to see a better price and more compact and sustainable packaging. I’m not crazy about the extra plastic to make the bottle shape coming from a company that says they are environmentally friendly. A refillable version where we add the water would be nice. Still it’s the best option I have found so kudos to 7th Generation. Please continue with producing the no fragrance added products!!!

I did some research on EWG and decided that I want a "healthier" dishwasher liquid. This one, though slightly expensive, works great. Compared with other "healthy" choices, this one is the most accessible. The only problem I have is: my dishwasher liquid dispenser seemed to get stuck a while after I poured this liquid in. The problem came back after I cleaned my dispenser thoroughly by hand. Not sure if it is from the cold weather (e.g. maybe this liquid freezes at a higher temperature than the ones I used before. But I don't think my house temperature ever drops to that cold ... )

This is the best unscented and non-toxic dish soap we have found. I can't say enough good things about it. The other dish soaps on the market have awful scented chemicals, and chemicals you would not want on your hands or your dishes. Just because the others have cute animals in their ads being washed from an oil spill, doesn't mean that stuff in non-toxic. Seventh Generation is very mild and not toxic. Great unscented soap for your dishes.

I keep buying this product, I have multiple chemical sensitivities' and have to use products like this. It is great as a hand soap for me (we use it in our bathroom dispensers) and for general cleaning like floors and counter tops.

Cleans well without drying the hands

I bought this not to wash dishes but to clean the spectacles especially the plastic lenses. The reason, it contains no salts or chemicals that could damage the coating on the lenses. I have to say it does an excellent job. Oh and it can clean dishes too

This bottle received seemed to be lesser than 739 ml . Perhaps the bottle is not sealed and some liquid leaked during transportation .

The bottle comes in a different design as with the original US version. Do also note that this bottle design comes from Thailand instead of US. I suppose the formula is the same but the source of ingredient prob is not and as usual us as consumers know no more than what is written on the products.
