Caulkzilla C&S Caulking Gun -310ml/10oz - 18:1 Thrust Ratio

This is a SERIOUS caulk gun! I got tired of buying big box store caulk guns (of which I have 5 or 6) that did not work for thick construction adhesives. This one has plenty of power and does not bend or destroy itself if squeezed too hard. The pressure relief works well, only letting a small amount drip from the end after application. Wish I had bought this years ago !!

This caulk/sealant gun is by far the best I’ve owned or even used. My only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner. I decided to get the 18:1 non-adjustable model because fewer parts usually equals a lower probability of malfunction. I was a bit concerned about the thrust ratio considering there are 26:1 models available, however I found with this model design & quality 18:1 is plenty. I use more sealant & adhesive than caulk & this gun pushes it out with ease even with a small hole in the nozzle. I highly recommend this Caulkzilla gun, it’s well worth the money. I’ll be giving my 5 other guns to charity & buy a second Caulkzilla so I don’t have to switch out the tube when I’m working on a project that requires a couple different products.

A real precision tool that worked much easier than my "old" gun, with very smooth movements and exceptional control, especially with the newer, full-bodied caulking compounds, because these require a higher thrust ratio of pressure. This was why I chose this gun and I was happily satisfied. The manufacturers of these newer caulking compounds do not mention the extra difficulty in applying their product, or the obvious higher cost, but the added benefit of a much higher quality product far out-weigh the higher cost and the difficulty of getting it out of a standard gun.This is the best gun I've had my hands on, after many years of construction projects.

this works well, I was surprised to see there is no way to cut the tubes like most caulk guns have.Also the rod to puncture seals is awkward and not really long enough imo.The cutter isn't a huge deal since most of the ones I've used in the past either crush the plastic or just don't cut very well to begin with. The puncture rod really has no excuse though.

Hardened shaft is a key component of this smooth action gun. Powerful lever action and easy pull forces. Love the drop-in cartridge design and revolving barrel, that allows the tip angle to be spun for better alignment to the seam.

I don't usually write reviews but I think this caulk gun deserves notice. It very well made. It solidly constructed and the trigger and piston drive mechanism are clearly a step above most caulk guns that I have owned. It feeds caulk smoothly and evenly and does a good job of not continuing to extrude calk after the trigger is no longer being pushed. When I bought the devise is included a $5.00 discount coupon which made it an even better value.
