Definitely a good product

Trusty, compact and reliable. Use this when doing DIY changes to outlets and switches. Really useful for seeing what wire is hot and neutral especially when the wires are old.

Works great. Very sturdy product! I forgot it in my pants pocket and sent it through the clothes washer and dryer. It still works!

The media could not be loaded. HEADS UP! Returned one that did not reliably detect AC when tip inserted in wall outlet. Received a duplicate exchange which had the same issue but discovered it worked great on the plug, the charging cord, the lamp wire.Discovered in the fine print it is not compatible with some outlets - their design, thickness or if TF tamper resistant. So it works great but test behind the outlet, which is inconvenient but necessary with this product.

Great for everything you’d need it for. Battery life is solid and takes batteries that aren’t hard to come by. It’s build sturdy enough to be trampled on by grown men. Loud enough to be heard through earbuds at a high volume. Saved me from actual death twice.
