iFixit Battery Compatible with iPhone SE 2020 - Repair Kit

I have been using the battery for 2 months and it works as well as the original battery. Great product.

Its a lot of effort to replace an iPhone battery, so if you go through the effort you want to make sure you are a) going to have the right tools b) have all the parts needed, and c) have good instructions. Other brands expect you to reuse adhesives, or apply your own (not included) adhesives. Ifixit gives you all the parts and makes it easier. I avoid other brands just cause I never know what I am getting. It's not worth it to me to risk doing this job twice, or having it delayed to get missing parts or tools.

Comes with everything needed to change battery. Battery last longer than original battery. A bit pricey but it has everything necessary to change the battery. Installation was a bit tedious as compared to the older version. Battery does not get hot and fits perfectly into the allotted slot. Get this replacement as opposed to the cheaper batteries on Amazon!

Tools are maybe on the flimsy side, but they sure do work! All of the replacement parts (gasket, battery, etc) seem to be of really high quality. Turned my SE from essentially a paperweight back into a usable second cellphone.

As most people looking at this item I purchased this kit because my iPhone battery was draining super quick after having the phone for years. The process of swapping out the battery was not terrible and took me about 45 minutes with the aid of a Youtube video. The tools were helpful but there were some flaws. First, the screw driver head was not magnetized so it was difficult positioning super tiny screws correctly resulting in them falling a few times and having to search for them. Secondly, it was hard to separate the phone screen from the back of the phone with the tools provided and needed to use a razor blade to begin separating it before then swapping over to the provided wedge tool to further separate and open up the phone entirely. All that aside, the huge bummer is the fact that after paying for this kit and putting in the tedious work of swapping batteries that nothing changed what-so-ever. This battery drains just as fast as the 4 year old one that was originally in the phone. Giving it two stars because I guess if your battery was totally fried and not working then it would be worth purchasing.

With the right tools it was simple and straightforward with their guides. Phone feels faster and will run good for years to come.

I purchased a battery replacement kit for my iPhone 5s from these guys years ago and it's still going strong! Followed their instructions on their website and had my battery changed in about a half hour. Most of the time was spent cleaning the old seal off. Shipping was fast, although I wish they had a pick up option since I live just .2 mile up the street from their shop and it seemed a little silly to have to pay shipping.

If you take your time and read the directions ahead of time :) this should be a successful repair.
