KrylonGesso Spray Paint Primer, 11 oz, Bright White

I used this spray to varnish my acrylic paintings. This product worked great, it was easy to apply, self-leveling, great finish and dried very fast. I did not have to apply a second coat. I will be buying more of this product.

I wouldn't apply this indoors, even though the label says it's safe to do so. "Low odor" does not equal odor-free. I have used it outdoors, without issue.It works well to seal paper or mixed media art/crafts. I live in a humid area, so it did take 2-3 days to dry completely. I expected this. The product is excellent quality, and I would recommend to art hobbyists, students, and pros.

I absolutely love this spray which I used to coat the pages of my coloring books because I use prismacolors. The scent is pretty strong so you need to make sure that you're outside when you spray them. I have not had any issues with my containers leaking and the spray quality is very fine. Sometimes it leaves a slight sheen depending how many coats I put on it which is okay for me. A can will last me through two or three color books and anything else I need to work on artistically.

Very reasonably priced compared to most other fixatives on the market. This is the first time I’ve used this product. I used it on a 9” x12” graphite pencil drawing on Bienfang “sketch” paper. I put on two light coats holding the can the recommended distance away. It definitely fixed the graphite and on a test piece I was able to continue drawing over the sprayed area. On the finished drawing I used it on it did put a slight “bend” to the paper but nothing really objectionable.I wonder if the directions on the can are generic and used for all of their paints, but I did shake the can for the full two minutes, seems a bit excessive to me but what do I know. The directions even mention not putting on heavy coats to avoid “runs”, hmmmm.Decent product for the price, I would think that a serious, professional artist would stick with one of the well known time tested brands. But, for my purposes and level of skill, this fills the need.

Works really good. My projects that are outside it protects, which is just what I wanted.
