Absolute workhorse
Pretty much my entire business runs through this laptop. I work in electronic systems design and always have quite a few resource intensive programs and many browser windows open. No lag, no stutter, no slow down. It's been worth the purchase..

Outstanding
Crushes anything I throw at it, not a fan of windows 11 but that can be remedied. The main thing is that it has a much better cooling system than previous ROG laptops. Some of the previous models would get so hot that it would burn you if you left it on your lap for too long. This one has a much better fan system that will even out the heat then run quiet. The display is the best I’ve ever seen on a laptop, better than most desktop displays. If you can find one, buy it. I got this for a little over 2K and I’m sure it will be even cheaper once the 4 series comes around.

It's a Beautiful Machine!!
This is the best laptop I have ever owned, and worth every penny. It's truly able to run even new games at top settings with full raytracing, for example Cyberpunk 2077 in ultra ray tracing overdrive mode. I look forward to seeing new games in all their glory in the future!

Screen Dead On Arrival
Update: Amazon High Value Refund PolicyI returned the defective laptop to Amazon, they recieved it on the 30th of August. A week later and considerable digging I discover that high value refunds require a 30 day waiting period from time of recieving the item back at their warehouse to your refund being processed.I purchased the laptop on the August 17th, recieved it on the 24th, returned it on the 30th and am now waiting until October 1st to recieve my nearly $4000 dollars back from Amazon.6 weeks total. This is absolutely rediculous. I cannot buy a different laptop with my own money, because it's being held, for no reason.Customer support has been absolutely ineffective. They have lied to me outright, telling me they would process my refund, and I'd see it a week later. Then telling me it never processed and I need to wait the 30 days.Bottom line: I will NEVER buy anything over $300 from Amazon ever again. $300 is the arbitrary trigger price for high value items.Original review -Unboxed the laptop, powered it on, screen completely black. After some basic troubleshooting we hooked up a secondary display via the HDMI port. The unit powers up and functions, but the screen does not work.Downloaded new drivers as recommended, still dead.Followed ASUS online troubleshooting guide, still dead.Walked through possible solutions with ASUS tech support, still dead.To say that I'm terribly disappointed is an understatement. This is the premiere flagship in the 2022 ROG lineup, the Special Edition. I would expect the build quality to be equal to the price point. In the end it's essentially a tricked out brick.I'm requesting a refund, and reconsidering purchasing a replacement.

Really fast gaming laptop!
This laptop isn't good on battery life, but is a great desktop replacement that you can take on the go if you need to. The 16GB of vram isalso great for video editing if that's something you need it for, not to mention the incredibly fast raid 0 gen 4 ssds it has.

Great Machine. But Don't Have Small Problems.
I love this laptop. It's everything I wanted in a gaming laptop. Fast, reasonably quiet. Reasonably portable. If you have one of these, and if yours works, I'd say you got your money's worth. I just wish my bluetooth audio worked the way it did when I first got it.This is a cautionary tale for those of you who may have problems with yours. TLDR: Expect to pay at least $25 to ship your laptop to ASUS for any warrantee repairs. (Starting at $25 USD for Components and starting at $40 USD for system products.) They offer to sell you a shipping label through a company through which they have a business relationship. Leveraging their corporate rates for shipping. From my perspective, though, if I'm paying some $3500 for a laptop, I would expect the company that I'm buying from to stand behind their product to the extent that they provide free shipping for legitimate warrantee repairs. Yes, this laptop is still within the warrantee period. I had it for about two months when the bluetooth audio began acting up.As it stands, I can provide a fix for the bluetooth by buying a USB Bluetooth adapter. It would be nice to have my laptop repaired to a condition in which it should have come in the first place. But, I can live with the USB Bluetooth adapter solution, and I can do it for less than the ASUS shipping would cost. So, be warned. I'll admit that I'm writing this because I'm a bit irked, and this is a way of hitting back. And, maybe I've been spoiled by our online shopping culture. Maybe shipping costs are a reality, and not every company can be your Amazons or your LL Beans with their great shipping and return policies. But, be warned. This is what you can expect from ASUS.

Absolute Garbage
Hands down the worst laptop I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have had this for only a few months and the audio card is already shot. The graphics card is great for rendering but as a package this laptop is an utter disappointment. Save your money and look elsewhere. This laptop has cost me days of productivity because of the shoddy components. This will be my last ASUS product I ever purchase. Not sure how the company went downhill so fast, I have used components of theirs in the past that were great but this is just embarrassingly bad. This has led to a new corporate policy to never purchase ASUS products due to the issues that this laptop has caused for our company.
