The media could not be loaded.  First, let’s be honest people.. any putting mat is not a substitute for a real green; a mat should be used to develop a repeatable stroke that gets a ball rolling end over end. Bc the reality is that real greens are much longer and wider, they have undulations, they have pitch marks and they have way too many things out of our control that a putting mat just can’t train us for. We just need something convenient to use inside while we’re working from home.Anyway, I chose this Perfect Practice V5 Compact mat for a few reasons:-setup/storage is quick and easy. I’d guess it’s about 3 mins to put away and 1 min to assemble-Having 8 feet of space is plenty for me, especially for my smaller apartment-1 hole is good enough, just like my wife says. I prefer to focus on 1 hole..an extra hole would be distracting and either way, I’m just working on my stroke and seeing those balls roll straight. Maybe in the future, I’d wish I could stroke it into the other hole but I’m happy with the 1 I have-I love the ball return. Now, I don’t have to waste any effort walking back and forth, I can stay where I am and just hit ball after ball after ball-The quality is great too. No kinks in the mat, this thing is essentially a thick (but not tall) mousepad that rolls out very flat. Its smooth, the grass is just a printAll in all, I’m super happy with this purchase. I’m looking forward to frequent, long sessions just stroking it into that tiny hole and watching these balls perform the way god intended them to. 5 stars!!

I've used many of the popular putting practice matts, and although nothing compares to practice on the course or at a range, this is a great practice matt for at-home use in smaller spaces. The fact that it only takes up about 1 ft. x 1 ft. of space when rolled up is particularly helpful for storage when not in use - and it comes with a storage bag, which is a nice feature. The ball return strip also rolls up nicely and works surprisingly well.The only downside is that when it's unrolled, it takes a little while to be completely smoothed out, meaning that the matt stays wavy unless you flatten it out with something (I used some old textbooks and that eventually worked). The matt does have a couple of Velcro strips on the bottom, but even when set up on carpet they don't really help.

The media could not be loaded.  I spent hours doing my research on a at home putting set up. I looked at Birdie Ball, Prime Putt, Perfect Practice and several others. I did like the others due to the size of putting area but the wife dropped hints on those being bigger than she would prefer. I have plenty of space but happy wife, happy life! I really like that the lines printed on the mat not only is for alignment but it allowed me to see instantly if I pulled or pushed a putt. I love utilizing the small hole, cause then the standard hole looks so much larger. I’ve always tend to leave short putts short or they would die at the hole due to speed and the PP mat confirmed this in the first few rolls. I made approx 50-60 putts right out of the box and I’m truly impressed. I will be stroking putts daily! The look of PP is of High Quality, True Roll and Accurate Speed along with how easy it is to put away is a win win! The mat lays perfectly flat out of the box with the exception of the last 3 inches which was only curled slightly. Check out my speed and accuracy video. Buy with confidence!!

I don't play PGA courses that have 12 stimp greens. Ball speed and distance on this mat is excessive for bogey golfers playing city courses. I purchased the 15 ft thinking this would help me with distance but it is super fast flat roll ending in 19% up angle to a cup about 4 in higher than the flat. So this is a good product for Dustin Johnson and others playing Augusta level greens. I can tap the ball lightly from 15 feet and the ball travels 14 ft along the flat. So the stroke of your put is for getting the ball up the 19% slope up 4 inches to the cup no matter where you start from. Changing distance on the mat won't improve your ball speed.On the positive it has turned out to be good for practicing putting form and ball direction. The ball return is super convenient.When I unboxed it it was in perfect condition and setup was a breeze. I set it up on a wood floor and found out the floor wasn't level. When I moved it to the other side of the room it's level.

I purchased this for my husband & he is loving it. I don’t know a thing about golf but he says this mat lays perfectly flat and rolls very true. He said he’s felt a difference and more confidence just in the short time he’s had it…..something about it’s helped him with speed control & keeping the putter on line. He was concerned about reviews for some of the others, including the earlier version of this product. However, this new and latest version V is spectacular. It rolled out perfectly flat, stays in place and is quality made.

Warning to potential consumers of this overpriced garbage. My initial unit purchased I returned due to manufacturing flaws related to the ball return sections not correctly manufactured.The magnetic poles installed BACWARDS!Returned and received replacement that was in worse condition than the first unit.The first assembly ball return section had separated from the main assembly.(See 1st illustration).It's no wonder. A 5 year old could construct this better. Also, this sub section was feebly connected together with weak,microscopic pins that are totally useless from a design perspective. Furthermore, additional inspection of the main assembly underside,(See 3rd photo), revealed a severely damaged/cracked portion of the paper-like 'floor' and subsequent support assembly. My personal advice to all who are considering purchasing. ..."Steer Clear."Don't waste your ($175) on this trash.Negative 5 Stars if it was an option!!

The magnetic polarity of the last piece was incorrect resulting in last piece not able to connect to the rail. Also the paint on the wooden pcs was chipped.
