I like that there were two of them. They can be remotely controlled. They come on individually unless they are hanging close to each other. Then they will both light when you point the remote towards one of them. You can charge by plugging in the wire that fits into it like you charge a phone. Very useful in the darker days. I’ve not tried the solar charging panels yet. As no wires attached when charged electrical you can walk anywhere with one and it will light you way your room or wherever you want. I’ve one hanging in my porch. It’s saved me having a porch light fitted. A much more expensive job. I charge over night on economy 7. Takes a few hours to fully charge

Really bright ultra white powerful light

We have this in an Ikea uplighter and used for several hours every day. It's nice and bright. Had it for 10 months and happened to take it out today. The base is hot and it's cracked all the way around, so not expecting it to last much longer, and assume that shouldn't happen.At (say) 8 hours per day for 300 days, that's c. 2400 hours use so far out of a rated 25,000, so not promising.*** UPDATE JUNE 2023 ***This bulb is still working perfectly every day after over 4 years, perhaps 15,000 hours, so very good.

It has a good spread of light and would be close to a 100w bulb for light output . Be aware that it may not fit into a smaller light fitting which was intended for the old tungsten bulbs , we have a round bulkhead outside light and this bulb will not fit . It fits well in two other light fittings we have and I do prefer this whiter light for outside use .

Actually I have ordered two items, one was not working. 2nd one is just started using it now its just 10 mins so far good. not sure if this also may not work in some time. but so far good brightness and giving cool feeling.

This was bought to go into an IKEA shade - the store's ow bulbs having a poorer review and not being bright enough. It works perfectly well, has a good (non-yellow) bright light, and seems perfectly satisfactory. I'd buy another one if I had another such shade.'Longevity', which is a big issue for differing LED bulbs, is difficult to comment on; by the time a good bulb has failed it's a little late to comment in a review. I live in hope that this will be well into the future!

Good light with good colour rendition. Very pleased.

I needed a higher colour temperature bulb than the apparently standard 2700k. This is just the ticket and is making my hobby (model making) easier when the daylight goes.I would not want this as a light for the living room though, it has a particular use in close up fiddly work and painting small parts. It is a personal choice for me and might not suit everyone. It is used in a spare room only.Also, don't look at it....
