Drill Mounting Template for Kitchen Cabinet Pulls Kitchen Knobs,1 Pack

We bought a new home two months ago and none of the cabinets in our home had any handles or pulls on them. We asked a local handyman what he would charge us to install them and we were quoted $6.50 per HOLE. The pulls I chose had two holes and that meant our total would be over $350. We opted to install them ourselves, and these templates worked great. There are two templates, one for the cabinet doors and one for the cabinet drawers. The cabinet handles I chose measured 3 3/4" from hole to hole, and some of the jigs and templates we looked at had measurements for 3" and 3 1/2", so those wouldn't work. These were so easy to use. The set came with instructions, but it is so self explanatory we didn't need it. There is a small notch in the center of the drawer template that we matched up with the center of our drawers. The template for the cabinet doors had stoppers on the side and bottom to keep it in exactly the same place on each door. We simply put the template in place, marked the hole with a sharpie, drilled holes at the markings, and inserted the screws to attach the handles. Once we did it on the first cabinet we knew exactly what we were doing and managed to add handles to all 25 cabinets in about 2 hours. I highly recommend this template if you are considering a job like this in your home. Great value, well made, clear plastic, not at all warped. Perfect.

Could definitely be designed better- the lip is small so it almost takes to people to hold it perfectly in place on both the top and side firmly while the other makes the mark. The labeling also could use some work, but that being said it worked luckily absolutely perfect for the two applications we need it for, and cant be the $10 that saved loads of measuring, math, and double checking. Drill bit worked great too!

This jig made installing my cabinet pulls so much easier. Once you set the measurement, you can repeat it across every drawer and door with perfectly consistent holes, way faster than measuring each one individually. I recommend putting tape over the holes before drilling to preserve the face of your cabinets. My only gripe is that I wish the lip was a little longer, because it tends to slip off drawers with beveled edges. I had to hold it a bit tighter to keep it in place. Overall, totally worth it for a cleaner, professional look without the hassle. I’d definitely recommend it!

Not sure how I would have installed the knobs and pulls without it. Great gadget
