Q: Can i connect to other tools apart from bosch? makita or dewalt for example?

This is first and formost a wet/dry vaccuum. If your intended purpose is to connect to an extraction port, on say a compound saw, moving between different brands will undoubtedly require additional adapters/customizations, but i have found Other brands to fit or can be made to with some ingenuity. If by tools you mean wet/dry vacuum accessories, then again this will be something of trial and error between different brands. Your questions is a little to vague to answer further. What i would say, is i have bought this and its meets my needs for both workshop cleanups and odd jobs like hooving out the car etc.
