Funny enough I do not buy these for my car, but I put them in my Server room at work and it is actually very nice to have a server room that smells like fresh linen. My employees, think it is both weird and awesome, so I would mark it up as a success. :) Recommended for server rooms as well as cars :)

These babies are great, especially if you have kids or a smoker in your car. When I've had people standing around my car with window cracked, they can smell the fresh linen coming from my car - it's amazing!The only downside to these is they only really work if you're using your heat. Or maybe I should say the scent is more potent if you're using your heat instead of just your fan or A/C. If you have it on the 3rd setting (the strongest), it works best if you have the fan, heat or A/C blowing (heat is the best though).I love the fresh scent though, it's not too strong and not too light. I either use fresh linen (sky) or the Febreze scents. And for 5 packs, it's a great deal! I have a 4-door sedan and only need one at a time. If you're using an SUV or something bigger, MAYBE two at a time?

Likes: reasonable price, very easy to activate and clip to a car vent. Strong smell.Dislike: I got this because inside my car was smelling mildew-y. But the Febreze smell was so strong (let's say a little goes a long way) that I had to move it to a further vent. Then took it out. That is just me. There are some perfumes I love and some I can't take. If you like the Febreze smell, which many people do, you will like this air freshener.

I did not like the odor when I open our SUV car door, like a locker room. I sprayed and sprayed, but it smelled the same. After I installed this clip on the vent, the awful odor went away. I am very pleased! I gave 4 star for the longevity because it was used up pretty fast for one cartridge. Maybe, it was because it is Summer right now and the temp. in the car is pretty hot and caused it to evaporate faster.

After I spilled an entire large coffee under my passenger seat during a heat wave this summer, my car smelled horrible. I tried to clean under the seat but because it was hard to reach, there was only so much I could do after stuffing towels under there to soak up the coffee. After installing one of these on an air vent in the center of the car, the coffee smell faded very quickly & was replaced with the pleasant clean linen scent. I have often found that car air fresheners are too overpowering, but this is not at all. It seems to be lasting a long time too; I have had it in my car for almost 3 months & it still produces a strong, pleasant scent (especially when A/C is running).

This is advertised for cars but I use it in the home. If you have forced air heating by placing it in your vent, it will refresh each time the air flows.

We've only had these for about a week; we have one each in two cars. They were easy to install. Our cars weren't really smelly; we tend to keep them clean, but the advertisements were appealing, so we tried them out.I agree with the other reviews that the scent is very strong; we have them turned all the way down, and it's pretty strong when the door is opened. One's nose adapts (or the sense is deadened), and it's not noticeable after a while. Our cars are semi-compact with four doors. I would definitely NOT use these in a smaller enclosure (like a truck cab).The advertising claims that it eliminates odors, but it really seems to just be covering up odors with the scent.My bottom line: While the idea is good, and the design is good, I don't plan to buy them again, nor would I recommend them.
