Excellent Wax for Hirsutism long-term wax user - does grip fine and coarse, and short hairs
I have PCOS that comes with hirsutism and I have struggled with it since I was a teenager (I am almost 40). I used to shave every day unless I didn't care that I looked like I had a 5 o'clock shadow for the day. I paid to have laser treatment several times in my 20's and early 30's but the hair always grew back, and that route is so expensive and I got so discouraged. Then I found Adore Her Beauty on YouTube, who's channel is all about waxing facial hair for women with hirsutism, and it changed my whole life. I started waxing in October of 2022 and I never looked back. In her videos, she talks about the benefits of waxing, shows you the techniques she has developed that work specifically to remove male-pattern hair growth in women, while saving our more sensitive female skin from over-waxing. The best thing, for me, about her teachings and guidance, was that you don't have to sit around for 4 to 6 weeks and wait for your facial hair to grow really long before you can go to a traditional waxer. She shows you how to handle hair at any length and the importance of knowing your wax's abilities. This is something that women without hirsutism don't understand. It is extremely isolating to have to feel like you can't leave your house for 2 weeks without being mistaken for a man in public. You can't feel sexy, you can't look in the mirror and see your beauty, you can't hold your head high in self confidence because someone will see your chin and neck. It's crushing, and it robs you of your birthright to feel feminine. The education I have gotten from Adore Her Beauty has saved me from ever having to feel like that again because of facial hair.Let me get to the wax. On the channel, she uses 2 main types of wax, one that is better for coarse, thick, stubborn or deeply rooted hairs, and one that acts similar to this wax, which is good for both fine and coarser hair. Now, I have found through my waxing journey, that early on, when I was still going through the phases of rehabbing my skin from shaving and had not yet traumatized my hair follicles into submission, that I really needed a wax like the Bestidy Pink wax which would grab those thick hairs and rip them out, no questions asked. That wax is *chef's kiss* for first starting out. It's cheap, and if you heat it right it works perfectly. In fact, the main thing I've figured out with cheap waxes is there's a trick to heating them to get them to behave well. I heat them up as high as my warmer will go then cool them down to about 158° -170° F depending on the specific type, some need it a little warmer. This particular wax likes it on the warmer side of things, around 170°F +/- and it's the first wax I've used that didn't have to be super-heated first. That leads me to assume that this is a higher quality wax than the other slightly cheaper waxes. And it spreads easily on the skin, and has a decent setting time - it doesn't get rock hard right away, which is very nice. Those things mean you end up using less of it, so that justifies the few extra dollars it costs for me.I would not recommend this to a woman with hirsutism who was just starting her waxing journey, unless you have finer hair or, you have areas of the face/neck that have mixed hair texture. This would work better than a more aggressive pink or blue wax for mixed textures. But, when you're first starting out, and you're coming from a shaving background, you're going to need a more aggressive wax. I was not able to move to this type of wax until I had waxed consistently for a solid year. I never went back and forth between shaving and waxing, I fully committed to waxing, and that paid off enormously for me. I used to have to wax weekly, and my hair grew fast enough that I could. I used to have to do multiple strips because my hair was so thick, coarse, and deeply rooted. I used to have discoloration from shaving for so many years. After a year of exclusively waxing, and following an exfoliating regimen with my skin care (as recommended by Adore Her Beauty), I can use this less aggressive wax and only have to do 1 pass, 1 strip because my hair follicles have been systematically damaged and can't grow hair the way they used to. I see it. I benefit from it daily. The discoloration and uneven texture in my skin are gone. I feel beautiful, I feel feminine, and I feel like I can meet the world with my true face. But more than that, I feel free. It is such a burden to have to deal with a health issue that makes you feel defeated, and imprisoned because of something your body is doing. Waxing has given me a new life.I hope that if you made it this far, that my story helps you or someone you love, and I hope you can spread around the freedom and self-love too.

Works like a charm!
I was very skeptical of hard wax and how well it works. This product changed my mind, it is very easy to use. I melt it down in the separate heating unit then apply it to the hair. After 1 or 2 times its removes everything I need. A little warm when you first start to use it but you quickly get used to it. I love the option that I can save money and wax at home.

Gets the teeniest hairs!
I'm new to home waxing, and originally just used the wax that came in the starter pack with the warmer (different brand); however, I felt that wax was lacking, and went in search of something better. I decided to try this brand (and purchased the 'off white' kind) based on the good reviews. I can happily say that I give this a solid 5 stars!! I mostly wax my armpits and upper lip, and as you can see from the pictures, it gets the tiny peach fuzz, too!A couple things I've learned during my waxing journey...A. Make sure the wax is at the right temperature. Too cold and it won't grab the hairs well. Too hot, and you burn yourself. This wax melts pretty quickly, then I take it out of the warmer and let it cool for several minutes before using.B. Mix and match which direction you lay the wax. If you find that you're putting it down in the same place over and over and it's not pulling anything, try the opposite direction.

AMAZING!!
I've worked in upsacale Spa's for years. I've also experienced dozens of salon waxes all over the country, as well as many different home waxes. Aside from painlessly and so thoroughly removing my hair, I have never in my many years in the business, had a wax system that was absolutely effortless in cleaning any mess, leaving the heating unit and pot looking brand new after each use. For me, the green workes best.I have both sensitive, sometimes even tanned skin, as well as course stubborn hair. A++

Does not pick up the hair as well as I would have liked
The wax is thick but had a hard time waxing legs and I tried on different clients with different hair textures, I would request my money back if I had not used it trying to make it work

I will not use any other product
It literally removed everything in one try and it wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be. Will buy again as soon as I start running out! The silicone sticks are very easy to clean and the sprays are convenient as well - especially the post-wax spray. It painlessly removes all of the wax residue.

Its like a big block of beads.
The media could not be loaded. The beads are sticking with each other. Not like the first time I ordered. Last time the quality was good.
