I bought some shampoo bars during Covid to reduce liquid carrying on flights, so am familiar with them. But wanted a gentle bar for my silver sparkles. It’s purple/black and has a pleasant smell. You can rub it directly on to you hair or in your hand. I chose to rub it in my hands for a few seconds, certainly no more than 6-8 seconds. There isn’t too much on your hand, but when you start to rub your hands through your hair it seems to become frothy, and nice to massage through. I then shower, and when I touch my hair there seems to be no shampoo on at all. But there is. Rinse off as usual, then dry and style. My hair feels soft (I use product to style which often makes my hair feel stiff) and I can definitely see whiter streaks in my hair. I’m using it about 3 times a week, and frankly think it’s a good product. I would definitely buy again. Someone mentioned about how messy it was. I cannot say that. As soon as it went on my hair, I rinsed my hands and they were clean. I regularly use purple/blue shampoo’s and my shower is a mess as the shampoo runs off my hands as I put it on my head onto the tray. This definitely doesn’t happen with the bar. There are many types of shamooo available, so it can be difficult to choose, but this is made in the UK and I think it’s worth a go.

A beautiful lather with a lovely subtle scent. Pure and natural ingredients Cleanses well and rinses off easily. Leaves my hair silky and soft and suits my curls well. Especially effective in combination with the conditioner bar. Great for cutting down on plastic, too.

I really like that this shampoo bar is made with natural ingredients, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to try it. After the first use I noticed that my scalp felt much less itchy, which was a really nice surprise. It lathers well for a shampoo bar and cleans the hair nicely without feeling harsh. My hair felt fresh and my scalp more comfortable after washing. The bar itself is quite small, which actually makes it very convenient if you want to take it with you when travelling or to the gym, as it doesn’t take up much space at all. So far I’m very happy with it and will definitely keep using it to see how it continues to help with my scalp.

Seems fine. Works as a shampoo, body and face wash. Not overly drying and hair feels clean and soft.

This is the only shampoo - bar, bottle, miracle... - that has actually managed to get my angry sad scalp under control and not destroy my hair! I've found ones that help my scalp leave me with straw hair, or ones for my waves leave my scalp crying in dandruff (and disturbingly blood - very sad scalp!), but KinKind have created the holy grail - my hair is soft, my scalp is happy... The positives; Great shampoo. Stopped my hair going brassy despite how much natural ginger I have in it. Wasn't perfect and certainly didn't reverse any brassiness from previous shampoo but does the job at up-keeping it without the effort of toning it weekly as I did previously. Works nicely as a shampoo and cleanses well, leaving minimal product and doesn't dry my hair out too much. SLS free so I was able to use it without any irritation but still had a decent amount of suds so made it easy to use. The Negatives; The smell is not to my preference but your MMV. Very floral.. The mess. Oh my the mess. I've used solid shampoo bars for years, many of which have been a fun colour, and I've never had an issue like this before. Now I'm aware, before someone else points it out, that a purple shampoo will always have some sort of dye in it to counter the brass tones but the absolutely MESS this left behind was so irritating. I would highly dissuade anyone to use this when traveling because you basically have to clean up the entire bath or shower after each use if you don't want to have lines of purple everywhere. It didn't seem to stain but it just wasn't worth the extra effort every single day. Conclusion; While I'd love to continue using this, I just don't think the extra cleaning time makes up for the time it saves me toning my hair.

Seems good and non reactive for my Balsam of Peru Allergy but it is super small. Like a sample. My photos show it next to a normal bar of soap and another shampoo bar. Not greasy or frizzy, even without conditioner. Will have to see how long it lasts

I am so glad I decided to try it. Leaves my hair so clean and soft. It is easier to create a lather than with regular shampoo. It also rises easier, leaving less sum on the shower.

Excellent soap and loved what it did for my skin but between me and my husband, it lasted one week. Too small! Please make it bigger!

I haven’t gotten a chance to use this yet, but I know people that have gotten it and they say it’s wonderful. It’s easier to apply to hair and it feels more softer than shampoo does so I can’t wait to use it and when I do, I will get back with you. Thank you so much.
