They are not kidding when they say heavy duty! After my autistic son had eaten his way through no less than six griffin survivor cases enough was enough. I was surprised when this arrived and it had screws! Well that’s the first plus point because he can’t just get into the case and remove the phone! The touch screen is still responsive although slightly less so than it was near the edges but non the less the phone is protected! I do worry the film on the home key won’t last but for now it is intact. Would buy again and recommended to others at the ASD group.

The product was a nice colour, the feel of the case was sturdy but when I put my phone inside the case I was not able to use my mute switch on the side of my phone, the buttons were also too small to even toggle with fingers as they sat level with the faces of the case. The only way you could toggle mute was by pushing the hex key tool on the button and pushing against the side of the phone on the rubber sides which you shouldn’t have to do if the case has the buttons to do that. When trying to take my phone out of the case the hex screws was not even done up too tight, but when trying to undo the screws the hex key just kept on rounding them off, I had to use my torx screwdriver set just to undo the screws which the tool inside should have to do without rounding them off. I have returned the product to amazon and I will not personally be ordering one of these cases again.

After receiving my 3rd insurance replacement for my iPhone X, I decided it needs a little more love and affection than I have been giving it! Starting off with a heavy duty case like this is the way to go! Oh, and stop dropping it. That helps too!I’ve had one of these cases before, and this one is just the same. It requires you to secure it to the phone using 6 little hex screws - everything is included that you need. The screws and the remover tool.You simply place your phone in the rubber cover, and then assemble the front and back metal covers around it. Once it’s all in place, screw in the 6 screws and you’re done. The yellow is a very bright colour and the paint seems nice and glossy so don’t think it’ll chip away too soon.The case does add some extra weight and bulk to your phone, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay to ensure it remains in one piece and not smashed up! On another plus, it will add to its future resale value because it won’t be covered in scratches! Win - win!

I bought this phone as i work in construction so wanted a strong case for my brand new phone. It terms of protecting the phone it is brilliant as for everything else it is TERRIBLE (including customer service). The phone is securely fitted into the case and its easy to assemble however, you cant hear people on the phone, they cant hear you, the standard iphone charger doesnt fit into the port, its huge and too bulky AND it broker after 3 months. To be fair it did protect my phone when i dropped it but it terms of practicality it isnt good enough. I had to cut holes in the plastic for the speaker in my ear and melt a hole through the rubber for the microphone (i shouldnt have to do that). I emailed the company to see what they could do as it only lasted 3 months and i have recieved no reply in 1-2 weeks, hence the negative review. Overall very dissapointed with case, it has/had potential to be good but it has too many flaws. Ive just purchased an “i-blason case” and so far it seems to be brilliant so id recommend buying that one instead. Hope this helps :)

Brilliant case! Bought for when I go out doing landscape photography so bought the Yellow one just incase I drop it then should be easier to find.Case feels very sturdy and arrived in a well presented box.Also had a micro fibre cloth and lanyard which I didn’t even know when ordering so was a good surprise.Only downside is you have to use screws to put your phone in and there are 6. If you plan on leaving your phone in permanently that’s fine but I will likely be taking mine in and out so will take a little longer. At least I know my phone will be protected when it’s in the case.

The media could not be loaded.  Look at the video, as you can see the screw is not getting hold of anything in this whole, and so it keeps falling out.I did try moving the screws around, meaning using another one from another whole in this one but it didn't work either.So I'll say this to the seller, send me a new one free of charge and proper postal paper work so I can return this one. All of this free of charge and then Ill actually try the product out and give it a better review.. but for now, this is really bad. Don't buy it..

I bought this case for when I'm out on the water - just in case I drop it in! It is a very tough and robust case, and the waterproofing ability does the trick. The case comes with an allen key and a hex screwdriver to assemble it together. The touchscreen still works perfectly fine, as does Touch ID. The case is heavy, so I would not use it everyday - but it seems like the ideal case for someone working on a construction site etc.! The slight downside is that, once the case is on, you cannot access the mute/unmute switch above the volume buttons - but this is not an issue for me.If you need a solid waterproof case to put on your phone as and when you need it, this does the job. But as before, it is very heavy and I would not be using it every day.

What a great case, especially for a clutz like me who Is always dropping their phone! Immediately I got it I dropped it on the service station floor and I think it must have done more damage to the floor than the phone! Not tried the waterproof bit yet but have no doubt it will stand up provided that the ports are all closed. I love the little button at the side which operates the mute button and also the strap is so useful for hanging your phone off an otherwise busy hand!
