Fantastic saw
Motor and fence were dead on accurate and table is reasonably flat right out of the box. Bevel stops and indicator required minimal and easy tweaking. Locking/unlocking the fence is a little more dramatic than I'd like, but the fence doesn't move when doing so. Fence and blade lift mechanisms are smooth. The included blade tested fine for what it is (rough cut), though I replaced it with something else immediately after. The design of the stand is mostly great, and i appreciate the left-side support it offers, but reaching the release lever with your foot can be a little awkward. The motor stops quicker than other saws I've used and the brushes spark when stopping, which was a little unnerving at first, but is apparently normal. I didn't find it particularly louder than any other saw, but I'm wearing hearing protection anyway. Overall a breeze to put together and an exceptional portable saw.

Pretty Good Portable Table Saw.
Impressive saw performance. I use it mostly to rip 1x pine & poplar planks. the portable stand works well and is easy to open close move around and adjust. I bought a better saw blade and the braking flash when you cut the saw off is at first a little disconcerting but after calling tech support which is easy and fast to get thru they said it was normal. I liked the Dewalt Portable Saw and stand too but this one is easier to set up but not as compact when folded. The fence is sturdy and easily adjusted. I saw some criticizing of the accuracy of the fence settings but that seems to me not important because I use a ruler to set the fence not the built-in ruler on the saw fence guide.

Almost perfect saw
I'll just start by saying that the difference in this saw and one that might be $100-200 less is unbelievable. This saw is absolutely worth every penny if you need a quality table saw.The assembly was straight forward, but I will say that you may need to look at the pictures if you are not familiar with how folding tables work. I am and I had to adjust the bolts a little to get them properly installed. None the less I didn't buy it for assembly instructions, I bought it to cut wood.It cuts very well and the metal fence is worth it's weight in gold because it can guide a board to make a 1/8 inch cut for 8 feet with no issue. I've included a photo of a cut made. It has near furniture quality cuts on plain pine. The blade height adjustment is the only thing that I would change as it didn't have a height lock. This can me important for someone using for dado type cuts. It stays put fairly well, but there is just a little play in the adjuster. The fence has dual metal gears and while you can move it by hand I found using the dial makes sure that they are parallel to the blade. The difference between the saw and the SPT99-12 and the SPT99-11 is the Diablo Blade and I can't seem to find the 12 anywhere. The skill blade that comes with the 11 is still a great blade. It makes furniture grade cuts. The saw is easy to manipulate and move around with the large wheels. It makes pulling over a rough terrain or curbs simple as a job site saw should be. The front feet keep it in position while working and the sawdust shoot has the ability to angle exhaust or connector for shop vacuum. The worm drive is the most impressive and important part of this saw. The noise level is significantly lower than my other craftsman saw and the power is so much better. There's no play in the blade for it walk on cuts. It's a true professional experience.Other details I like are the safety switch which requires deliberately pressing the recessed on switch and easy off you can tap off.So it comes in right at 100 lb and it's manageable for one person to load in or out of a truck.Overall, this is a truly functional saw that will provide a great service life and I am extremely happy with the purchase

Extreme torque for that 12 quarter oak
Worm drive means more torque, this thing is a beast, huge wheels go everywhere.

Best compact saw I've purchased.
By far the best non-cabinet saw I've owned. Came true and square out of the box, only had to adjust the bevel stops a tiny bit. Buy the outfeed bar and the zero clearance plates.

Updated info
Update: Found the missing parts at the bottom of the saw attached underneath. Neither the book nor the info on Amazon had this info, nor Skil when I called them. Crazy. I was watching a YT educational video and I saw it there. So a lot of wasted time on something that was easy to say in the instructions.Came re-taped with missing parts. Had to spend time jumping through hoops with Skil to try and get replacement parts. Unsure yet how this will work. Because of weight and size, UPS driver and I had to unload together, and also why I have not yet used the return feature. Haven't tried the product out yet. I ordered this because Skil is a good product. In my opinion, these are Amazon issues.

Nice table saw
The saw is excellent. The stand sucks. Have used these type stands in past. Not very good. And bulky.
