Diymore L298P Shield Expansion Board DC Motor Driver Module 2A H-Bridge 2 way

This is a great little board for motor control, with a decent chip which is able to supply enough current (2A) to drive a DCC layout. I paid around £4 each for these, but unfortunately at the time of writing "not currently available" (as I would have bought a few more).

This is the second one I have ordered. The first one has been used to control my model train layout Connected to a mega2560 and running the DCC++ software it is perfect. This one has been ordered so I can have a duplicate system in my workshop to develop new DCC decoder designs.

I bought this to use in a model railway project (DCC++ for those in the know) and it worked perfectly. Good price and delivery too.

Used for dcc-ex works great, well packed for shipping.

It works perfectly with my DCC++EX system on my model railway. Great piece of electronics, well made and reliable. I have two of these and no problems at all.

Works well after a struggle: thin instructions left me trawling the net

Unfortunately these expansion shield boards do not fit with the arduino uno R3 because the solder pins make contact with the arduino power socket ( see photos ). so they will not sit flush and make a proper contact. Useless, be wary buying these boards unless you are willing to remove the power socket from the arduino.

Habe damit eine DCC Zentrale gebaut, (DCC++) In verbindung mit einem Arduino Mega und der Jmri-Software habe ich somit eine sehr günstige DCC-Zentrale aufbauen können, die sogar noch mittels WiFi per Smartphone steuerbar ist!

Lo he probado para hacer una pequeña central DCC++ y por el momento está funcionando sin problemas. Por mi experiencia, recomiendo utilizar una placa mega en vez del uno, por sus posibles pines de expansión extra para el caso de querer conectarle sensores a RocRail.

Ci ho realizzato una centralina dcc con un arduino mega e il software dcc++, sta funzionando senza problemi. Il rapporto qualità prezzo mi ha soddisfatto

Produit conforme aux attentes. La programmation avec Arduino est identique à l'originale.

Consigliata perché funziona molto bene alla pari dei modelli di altre marche e più costosi. Unica nota negativa sono i piedini di collegamento ad Arduino fin troppo flessibili.
