Works great, good price. Not so good instructions.

Works well
Really easy to install if you follow the video, not enclosed instructions. Word of caution; before mounting spring mechanism, place the flat arm on central bolt and make sure it will swing the direction required for your door. In other words, push the arm and check which direction it moves. It should move towards the door hinges.

Works great on my shop man-door, with a little modification for height.
This device works great and it is pretty easy to adjust the closure and pull-too speeds and force. I mounted this above a man-door in my shop building. I had to bend the control arm down a little because of the heighth of the mounting location above the door, but this was done easily in a vice.

Puts way too much tension on door.
Crappy instructions. Sorta works. There’s a great deal of torque so I wouldn’t use it on a hollow core door. I sent it back. I could get it adjusted to where I was happy.

Significant speed Change with temperature is an issue. Very stiff to open door. Easy install.

Good quality, but the instructions are rough.
After a hour of figuring out why the included "M5" machine screws were not threading into the holes I made I decided to put them up against the taps I had. The screws are not M5 thread size, rather they matched up perfectly with my M6 x 1.0 tap.Also, when mounting on the opposite edge of the door (when compared to the instructions) you will need to flip the larger piece upside down. The long machine screw used to mount the arm to the spring mechanism will not thread properly into this hole all the way, it was too long and butting up against something deep inside the screw hole. Luckily I had some spare M6 x 12mm machine screws from a project and it was short enough to not interfere with whatever was down inside the screw hole.

No installation instructions.
This should be an easy install but no template, no installation instructions. I think the product will work but not having installation instructions or a template for installing making it useless. No website or support for getting these details as well.

I replaced a 25 year old closer. This one fit the old holes perfectly, so it took all of 10 minutes to install.For the record, the hole pattern is 168x19mm.
