Excellent All-In-One Irrigation System
I don't get all the negative reviews on this irrigation system. I usually buy from AC Infinity for these types of purchases, but they only seem to offer single water pumps rather than a all-in-one system like this product from Vivosun...and it rocks. Not sure why there are complaints about leakage and/or grow tent flooding. My experience has been just the opposite. I recommend barely, if any, adjustments on the regulators. This might be the issue for a lot of people. Opening them up too much will certainly cause a leak. Another culprit for flooding might be not following the directions to use the included tool to poke a hole in the hose at the top of the bucket so water isn't syphoned out into the grow area. The tubing I received was packaged perfectly- wound in a nice coil with ZERO kinks in it from the manufacturer. Maybe this was a quality issue that has been resolved by Vivosun. Either way, no complaints here. I can't speak on the included timer. I chose a third party option that allows me a bit more control than the Vivosun unit. The water pump itself is a durable 15 watt pump. I'm experimenting currently, but I have the pump cycling on for 2 minutes every hour. The pump cycles through without fail. Installation was a breeze and the instructions were easy to understand. Since this is a standalone system, you don't have to connect it to an integrated controller or anything like you would with a system that syncs an inline fan, lighting, etc. to one another. So no connection quality issues - just set up the included timer. Also, the $40 price point is fantastic considering you're purchasing a full irrigation system right out of the box. I didn't have to buy any additional components to get up and running. I went out of my way to leave a worthwhile review of this product due to it's ridiculous sub-4 star rating. I HIGHLY recommend this irrigation system. Some of the negative reviews here have to be chalked up to user-error or past supplier quality issues. Vivosun has earned my future business.

Easy Setup, Total Control
This drip kit is simple to install and works perfectly. The instructions were clear, and I had the system running quickly. It provides consistent watering every time, which saves me a lot of effort. The automated schedule keeps my plants perfectly watered without any guesswork. High quality parts make this a great purchase.

Made for vivosun grow box but works with correct timer combo
Im running my pump with vivosun smart power outlet with USB ports and setting the timer. There is a solution if you dont have a grow box by vivosun and just want to incorporate in your off brand setup. If it would actually plug into vivosun smart controller I'd give 5 stars. Other than that it's decent

NOW 2 WORK (ONLY 5 OF 8 IRRIGATION LINES WORKED)
Edit: after a month, only 2 nozzles dispense water, nearly lost 3 plants because these unexpectedly stopped working. Such a simple propposition, pump water through a few plastic hoses. The issue with these are the injection molded splitters that come off the main tubes. Either don't work, fail after use or when they do work, dispense at vastly different rates from each other. If you need to rely on these, you'll end up with dead plants Original reviw: I have all five other Vivosun products that I am very happy with. This "Professional" automatic irrigation kit is very disappointing. It only has to do one thing and that is pump water to the plants. I assembled carefully following directions and only 5 of the 8 irrigation lines had any flow. I made sure there were no kinks and that I was using pure clean water. Ultimately I had to take 3 of the lines off, one from one splitter and two from the other 4 way splitter (not easy to get off once they are on) and use a 1/16th drill to drill out the hole because it was not patent....defectively manufactured. So, if you use these, verify that each line works before you depend on this system to sustain your precious seedlings. After the non working lines were opened, it worked but each line had a substantially different flow rate, some dripped twice a second, others once every3-4 seconds. I would only recommend this for emergency use if going of vacation with no one to water for you. Even then there is a risk. 2 Stars because ultimately it did pump water, I had no time to return it before leaving on vacation or I would have.

Quiet efficient quality small irrigation pump for the flex system
I first tried using only the flex feed watering system and placing the 5 gallon grow bags on them to grow carrots. Unfortunately my carrots never grew after seedlings despite the system keeping the soil moist. So I added the irrigation pumps for the flex feed and the carrots are on schedule for growing. Carrots thrive with consistent watering and they like the coco coir, vermiculite, greensand, worm compost and slow release fertilizer. It got unusually hot in my greenhouse and with the temperatures in the 90s, the reservoir became low and the irrigation pump made a squealing sound warning me so I filled the reservoir and it started pumping the water as usual. The reservoir indicator would have let me know it was low if I looked at it, too. I like the fact each pump doesn’t take much energy to run and they can plug into a separately purchased multi charger unit. Great quality products to use in my root garden I can grow year round in my greenhouse.

Worth a try. Great price
So far things are working as planned. However my first grow wasn’t successful. Nutrient lock out

Good value for a good starting kit
We have a vegetable garden on the third floor porch of a condo, so there's no water faucet to connect a drip system to. I think for the money, this is a bargain. But for us it was more of the basics to get started and we added from there. I don't remember the hose sizes, but they're not quite standard if you end up buying some aftermarket parts. If you heat up the end of the tubes with some boiling water, then it's fairly easy to make connections even on slightly different inside diameter tubes and accessories. The pump is pretty darn, strong, and I'm running probably closer to sixteen drippers than eight. I don't have any problems getting enough water flow. Plus the pump is a couple feet lower than most of the drip spikes, so it has to pump water up as well and you often lose a lot of head pressure doing that. It wasn't a problem for me to run sixteen drippers. I bought a 28 gallon storage container because we were going through five gallons, pretty quickly. Since we have so many plants of different sizes and water needs, I bought some shut off valves that I can use to tweak water output to each line. I found that immensely useful as my the seven foot tall bougainvillea takes a lot more water than my chives or rosemary. For the money, I don't think you can beat it. There have been backflow issues, which is not a manufacturing defect (but it would be nice if they added something to prevent backflow coming off of the pump's main line). I imagine many complaints about leaking are just people who haven't made good connections. Get yourself a coffee cup of boiling water and heat up the end of the hoses to make sure they are fully attached. Once they cool you should have a snug, water tight connection. The connectors are injection mold plastic. I would recommend taking a nail file or exacto knife and clean up any plasric edges from the mold around the connection, otherwise these can break off and clop your dripper. For a few plants it's perfect. For our needs, it was a fantastic starting place.

Glad I got this while it was available
It took me a while to figure this out. I don’t feel like the instructions were that great. However once I realized you have to have the unit above your reservoir, all was good. It’s programmed, efficient, and reliable.
