Got smaller sized one before; and this updated one is even cooler than the older one with lightning on. Very steady with the easygoing tightness system. My daughter loves it!

I remember enjoying rollerblading as a kid. I never had any luck with roller skates but I was able to learn quickly with rollerblades. So I got these rollerblades to give to my daughter for her 8th birthday in 6 months.Her foot size is on the larger side of the medium so I went ahead and ordered the large so she'll have plenty of time to use them. But how awesome is it that the sizes have a range? So neat and convenient that these rollerblades are adjustable. Parents are always dealing with kids growing out of things too quickly. So it's nice to know kids have a little bit more time to enjoy these rollerblades.The wheels are very smooth gliding. The lights inside the wheels are cool that they only come on when the wheels are spinning. Unfortunately I probably won't be letting my daughter use these at night for safety reasons but hopefully they show up in the day time. My daughter also has light up shoes so I know she'll love that feature.With my rollerblades, I remember having the ability to pull out the inner cushion sock. Unfortunately with these rollerblades, you can't do that. They're attached in the back and can't be removed. I'm docking a star because I think it would be nice to remove them to wash, if necessary.I love the color. It's listed as green, but it's cyan, which happens to be my daughter's favorite color. However, it would be nice to have pink available. Colors might not be a big deal to some but I think it's a big deal to kids. They offer more "boyish" colors but I think having a pink option would be nice.All in all, these rollerblades are good quality and well made. I can't wait to give them to my daughter!

These skates are made with durable materials, and very comfortable. They have long laces and a locking strap that makes them sturdy but also take away the worry that they'll come undone. My child loves the bright color of the shoe as well as light-up wheels. One of my main criteria in selecting this rollerblade is the adjustable boot. I love that this rollerblade will last the next 3 shoe sizes.
