You don't leave it on your car. Somebody will just take it. Don't drive with the camera on your car. When you need it, take it out of the glove box and put it on, and then when you park, take it off and put it back in your car.

The wifi is generated from the Camera, so you phone connects to it with it's wifi ability. Said another way, you don't need internet services to run the camera on your phone.

Camera has it's own WiFi which you connect to. Just turn the camera on and search for it on you phone
