Bit fiddly to fit on to gate but does work well

Work perfectly but a bugger to fit
I bought two of these, one for either side of the sure shut gate. These work perfectly and are very solid.However, to fit them you have to remove the fittings from the original gate. The top fittings are easy to remove... The bottom ones required a selection of screw drivers, an adjustable spanner, a big rubber mallet and a healthy arsenal of swear words.. Oh and two plasters.The instructions say to prise out the bung with a flat screwdriver. My experience was prise it about 3mm with a screw driver, dig a smaller screwdriver in the side to prise it a further 3mm. Swear a lot. Jam spanner behind edges of bung and whack with mallet. Smash knuckles into edge of metal when bung finally pops out. Apply plaster.The mallet was also required to seat the extension firmly in the gate. Essentially beat it repeatedly till its securely in place.In summary, the extension is great. Removal of the bungs in the original gate is designed to cause pain and frustration.

Bought this as gate was small. It was easy to put on and now fits great. So pleased.

Works well to extend our gate in our new build property
Easy to clip onto our gate and install. Most stair gates nowadays are not wide enough for new build property’s so these are a must. Matches our silver and beech lindum gate perfectly.

Rien a dire. Conforme à l'annonce. Facile d'installation. S'adapte parfaitement sur la Barrière Lindam mais aussi sur le même model de chez Bébé9 (qui ne proposait plus les extensions grises)
