HDX3 Pack of 60037 3-Position Retractable Utility Knives w/ Replaceable, Reversible Blades

For the price ($2.50!), this is a GREAT utility knife. This is not a $10 or $15 utility knife, so don't expect it to be. I use mine to open cardboard boxes, and it is perfectly built for this purpose. It brings me joy every time I use it. Mine opens and closes smoothly, has never gotten stuck on me, and locks safely in place. The rubber grip on the sides is really nice, and the handle has a notch to give you some leverage when you are cutting with it. I like it.

A durable, no-nonsense utility knife at a good price. Yes, you can get cheaper disposable knives for a buck or two less. So long as you don't store this one in a puddle of water, repeatedly drive over it with a truck or lose it, this is the last utility knife you'll likely ever need. It's a simple, classic design that doesn't need to be changed: durable handle, simple and reliable switch and room to store extra blades in the handle.

These are great. I didn't thick they would be so well made for the price. I've gone through a lot of utility knives on my farm. I don't think I'll be buying more anytime soon. Here's why:1. Well made, heavy2. The mechanism works easily3. These are metal. Plastic tends to become brittle in the freezing weather.4. Orange - I can find them when I drop them. This is a huge benefit for me.5. The hole in the end. I tie a piece of leather or heavy string so I can loop it over a hook or just make it easier to pick up.

It is what it is, a low price razor knife for work. It's much lighter than expected, all plastic rather than the more heavy duty metal of my Stanley knife. The extra blades come in their own case which is nice, but can also be inconvenient of you misplace them and want to change the blade. However, unlike my other knife which has internal storage, it doesn't rattle when I walk with it in my pocket.

I buy these just because..........1) They are cheap2) I dont care if workers steal them for home use.....3) I just need hundreds of utility knives laying around the jobsite so I never have to look for one.I used to get good quality ones 5 to 10$ a piece, but they wouldnt make it a day on the jobsite without disappearing.... which meant I never had a utility knife when I needed one.These are cheap enough where every worker grabs one and they realize how cheapola they are so they dont make more than one or two vanish which means the next day I still have some left on the jobsite.....lolJust the truth.

These are your classic super-cheap utility knives. They are brightly colored so you can find them. They are made of strong metal. In all other ways they are cheap...not particularly precise nor innovative. However, they are kind of what you should get and if you are like me and lose these things all the time and don't want to pay too much, this is the right type to buy.Mostly I just use them for opening and cutting up the many, many amazon boxes I get. If I were a contractor I would look for something with slightly better ergonomics or faster blade change probably. Or maybe I'd stick with these because if you get paint and glue on them and they get messed up, it's no big loss to just throw them away.

I just moved into a new house and suddenly I have a mountain of Amazon® boxes everyday. I bought this three pack so I would always have one within reach; upstairs, down stairs, the garage. . . I think I lost one already.They work great! They cut things. The rubber makes them nice and grippy, and doesn't scratch things you put them on.

Works very well. I open so many boxes that amazon delivers! Worth the extra money over the real "cheapies". When a cheapie blade dulls, I've not been able to clip off the end to expose the next element, as I can in the "professional" model. The orange color makes it easily visible. Now I keep spares when my good one walks off! People seem to love it!
