I love having an app to control my door lock. I can access my home in multiple ways. I can unlock the door using the app, key, key fob and finger print. It automatically locks. I can assign temporary passcodes. Alexa enable is always a plus. The only con is that I can control the lock via app while on WiFi. I really like this system for keyless entry to my front door. Its slim design and advanced features provide a very nice addition to our home.One of the standout features is the app control capability, which allows me to easily lock or unlock my front door from anywhere using the dedicated mobile app. I can also grant temporary access to guests, friends, or service providers, giving me peace of mind knowing I can manage access remotely. I wish we could get the gateway free but I love this this lock and it’s app.The installation process was straightforward, and the lock integrated seamlessly with my existing door hardware. I had a kwikset system before this lock and that finally broke, but this surppasses the one lock. Think no more

I like the lock and it sets up easily enough. But there is very little in the way of documentation. I mainly switched to this from another digital lock because it said "APP Control & Ekeys: Smart locks can realize APP control, set passwords, manage access rights and view access logs." I realize some functions need a gateway and when I got it, it works great. I wasn't sure that the gateway would work since it has to be located on a floor below the door/lock. But it is working well.One thing to note, to set a new passcode you must be at the door. Once you generate it, you get an 8 digit code and you have to use it once before you can change it to something you want. So if you think you might need to set a passcode when you are away, generate an extra one and use it once.

I purchased two of these units. One for the main entrance and one for the garage. I found them easy to instal and high quality. I love the fact that there are so many options for operating the lock between the swipe card, code or phone app, I am very pleased with this purchase. We have been using them for about 4 months. I have definitely spent lots more money for some of the known name brands and not been as happy with the functionality.I notice that some reviewers are confused about the fact that you need the gateway in order to enable the remote capabilities of the lock and be able to operate remotely when away from the home. I was aware of this and purchased the additional gateway, which gave me the full features that I was looking for.
