Unfortunately, this book is unedited which shows at times. I find it incredibly disappointing that the author completely gave up on her career-making series (I do not count Descendants as it isn't original content). It was so exciting to find out she was going back into the Blue Bloods realms 10 years later, as I grew up with these characters (same age as them)... This book was a cop-out. Please, Melissa, don't give up entirely. Give us one more book that doesn't end on such a cliffhanger! You owe it to your characters!

A good start and middle
Like so many series, I think this one stalled at the end.The beginning is wonderful. The chapters move around - much like they did in the "Blue Bloods" series - between Oliver Hazzard-Perry and his search for Finn, Schuyler and Jack Force and their twins, and Ara Scott, the Venator.Everyone is searching for Finn, believing she is to be the Queen of the Silver Bloods, and the oncoming battle. New characters and smaller stories are introduced along the way - a few of whom I felt unnecessary. The core story and pace was nice, as they characters all move to one location, where they believe the battle will be.The final chapter, however, seems so very rushed and then ending just stops. It cuts off. I kept looking for another chapter - not knowing if there was a sequel coming or not. Therefore, I can't give it a better rating as I feel the ending made no sense. Once again, it felt like the author rushed to get the story out and move on to another project. They just plow through the last chapter and leave us hanging. This happened in the final "Red Queen" book, as well as the final "Dark Artifices" book - no kind of satisfying resolution, and no knowledge of a true cliffhanger.

I tried to love it like I loved the others...
I understand the situation, the Publisher cancelled the book so it did not have its full essence like the previous collection. I was very happy to see the characters in action again and so grateful that the author along with her fans pushed to get it published. It was just so sad how it turned out. Spoiler, the ending wasn’t fitting. It was so abrupt I feel pain down the back of my throat as I grieve for the rest. What happens to Ara and Edon, and Finns fate in the vampire world? Where does the coven go from there? How does it really end?I wish it didn’t have to end like this.

Cliffhangers.
The story line is very interesting with the introduction of Blue Bloods Saga principal characters but the end of the story feels like there is a lot missing. When the story takes a very interesting twist plot, the story suddenly end. It's like a cliffhanger, it just stop, end of story. I want to know what happens next, if that means that a next part is coming. I'm sorry I may be rambling, I just felt so confused at the very end.

Let down!
The original series was to die for, each story a brilliant read, intertwining characters to tell a masterful story. Yes the author did a time jump, where the characters progressed to adults, which was great, I was excited for Vampires of Manhattan, loved how the story evolved here, then White Nights was released, I enjoyed the story, however it was somewhat disappointing, I felt that there was more to the story, that more could have been shared with its readers, but alas it was not to be, I felt Melissa’s heart wasn’t into giving this book the ending that it deserved, let’s hope we see something more creative with this series, I’d hate for it to end abruptly!
