This controller is so fun. It has so many parameters that you can mess with and they all make a difference. My motor got warm very soon when I first plugged it in but after entering the correct motor winding resistance and amperage and all that stuff it runs ice cold and sounds so smooth. It will operate on 240 volts single phase input. The wiring diagram shows only three phase in and three phase out but I found I is made to operate on single phase in just like the description says. Very happy so far with this one.

Isn't doing its job so it's adversely affecting my pump.

I used it on a meat grinder which had a 240 volt, 3 phase, 2 hp electric motor. Had to convert 240 volt, 1 phase to 3 phase. I am pleased with the operation so far. The instructions for programing the speed drive's perimeters were not easy to interpret.
