It may not repair scratches, but works great otherwise
My Blu-Ray DVD of LOTR: Return of the Kings had smudges, probably from the flimsy case that came with the set, causing large portions of the movie to be un-viewable. Spraying this stuff on the DVD and following the directions restored the DVD to it's original quality. I'm very pleased.

if you understand what this product does, does NOT do; and use it correctly, you'll love it.
Excellent product for cleaning brand-new 4K HD DVD's (or other discs). It does EXACTLY what it's designed to do. It's NOT a scratch-remover or fixer. This is simply a var safe and effective cleaner to keep your discs CLEAN. We clean ours when they are new, and keep them minty-fresh and clean. This mitigates read errors of various kinds. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.

It Works!
I recently upgraded my movie collection by adding over 300 4k Blu ray discs. Out of all those discs, eight refused to play. I buffed them thoroughly with a microfiber towel and examined them under a lighted magnifying glass - they appeared flawless but still refused to play without corruption. As a last resort, I cleaned all eight with this cleaning solution. Six of the eight played just fine! The other two I returned to Amazon for a new disc of the same title. Although it does seems very pricey for how much you get, it worked and saved me the hassle of having to return another six discs!

Clean
For something you could probably make at home these cleaning fluids tend to run pretty expensive. I found this maker to have released the best price for the quantity, without a loss in quality. In other words I cleaned some discs and it got the job done. One disc was especially disgusting. This fluid will not leave scratches if you make sure nothing brittle is on the surface. Also make sure to use a microfiber cloth.

Broken nozzle after 1 use
Used it 1 time and the nozzle broke. I cleaned the nozzle with warm water and it still doesn’t work. It doesn’t pop up, so it must be the spring inside. Wasted $17!
