C.K T4857 Precision Plastic Trimmer Tool Set

These tools are fine but rather expensive
These tools are exactly what you need for making adjustments to small coils, cores or potentiometers especially those which need non-metallic tools. I would say that these are rather thin and flimsy looking for the price but there really isn't much alternative without spending a lot of money on professional tools. So for a hobbyist or tinkerer I think these are ideal.

Great
Used them to adjust the monitor and voltage trim pots on a classic computer. Worked a treat. They feel a little bit delicate so treat them with care.

Fine if you're careful
I actually only use one tool in the set so, in one sense, it's not great value for money. However, without seeing the tools close up, I had no way to order an individual item that I knew was going to be the right size; so buying a set covered all the bases. They don't look very robust, but I would rather snap one of these than shatter a ferrite core down at the bottom of a piece of radio apparatus. Being plastic is essential for some kinds of application. All in all, perfect, provided you know what you're getting, and it's exactly what you need.

Not enough variation and not tough enough imho
Have not been too happy with these in my electronics workshop. Not enough variation on tip styles and all quite small. The material is also not that tough. The one I have used the most has broken now - flat blade type and the blade has twisted off.So not recommended unless for fine detail, small stuff.

Don't use undue force
Works fine , tip will give way before damage to slug or cor.

Really useful
A vital set of tools

Good set - but!
A good set of very tiny tools. Unfortunately not including the three rather larger trim pot accessories that I required. So back to the small screwdriver, and sparks.
