It works
I was legit losing my hair. I have fine hair that breaks easily. It was just falling out like crazy. It was thinning at my scalp and looking awful and I was freaking out. My sister started using this brand a while ago, so I tried hers, and it was so nice I got my own. After using it for three washes, my hair stopped falling out. I've been using the Rice bar and conditioner set for about a month now, and my hair and scalp look so much better. I also had dry scalp, not dandruff, and that's gone now, too. I'm so glad I found this stuff. The shampoo bar lathers up really nicely and it does not pull on hair, and the conditioner bar is really nice. I definitely recommend this if you are having hair loss problems (I am 39, and losing hair at this age is part of life.) My hair looks soooo much better.

Awesome product!!
10 out of 10 recommend!! I was skeptical. I thought shampoo bar no way it’s gonna dry out my hair. It’s just gonna be bad. I was wrong. This product is amazing. It leaves your hair so soft so shiny. I have straight hair. That’s relatively healthy. At least that’s what I thought before I started using this product, I will not go back to regular shampoo ever again. my 10-year-old with super curly hair has been using this product. it has helped tremendously with her frizz and the overall health of her hair. It is expensive for hair shampoo, but it’s awesome. I will say the only down fall is that if you leave it in the shower it will dissolve quicker. Purchase the soap container and store it in there when not in use.

Extremely surprised
First, let me say that I had to look for a shampoo and cream rinse that has certain chemicals excluded from the formulary. Little did I realize that at the age of 56 one could become allergic to chemicals- in everyday products. As a child of the 80s I am a creature of *lots of suds to feel clean*I am Caucasian. I have longer hair .. about shoulder length and no longer color treated (did I mention chemical allergies ?? 😩) and have a 2b/3c hair type. It was on the thicker side .. well .. WAS until this chemical problem. So - thick, curly hair. And man, in the humidity.. okay - at my hairs every whim - it would frizz. I had a great system in place - my hair stylist has been doing my hair for 30 years !! Yes , the same person . Our kids went to school together and everything. My hair and scalp were well cared for.So! Back to this product.. I got this set - and a container they would hold the bars after my shower so they did not sit in water. These bars do not get.. slimy. I was concerned that they would be like soap - hard to hold and slipping out of my hands. Having to use a shower chair (I have POTS) is bad enough.. I did not want to chase a bar of shampoo soap. I made sure my hair was very wet and I lathered the bar as well as could be .. this was .. possible but not fruitful as one would think of from *soap*. I found that if I put the soap in the ends of my hair and put the lather I could lather my hair easier. It took about 3 times before I could get the right system down. Now - this shampoo CLEANS the hair. And I mean cleans. I would NOT use this shampoo bar without buying the matching conditioner bar. My hair after I rinsed was soooo clean. My hair has not been this clean in .. a long time. Almost scary clean. Ever cleaned out plastic containers and get the squeak? That kind of clean.I then used the conditioner bar. Wow. That bar is hands down super amazing. For a bar, I was amazed at how well it covered all my hair. It was be tree than using g a liquid if possible.Afterwords my hair and scalp felt amazing.. and I always let my hair dry naturally.. this time my hair dried quickly.. and the most amazing thing? I normally have a very itchy scalp after washing my hair. This time not a single issue. I just felt - clean. My scalp felt - great.I truly wish I had known to get these products before. I had been having itchy scalp, dandruff.. etc.. but thought nothing of it.My hair and scalp are on the road to recovery.. and I am happy to have this hair care products with me.

A better shampoo and conditioner bar
I waited until I had a few washes in to make a review, and the results are in: it’s good!I’ve been trying to find a shampoo that meets a few specific requirements, which is easier said than done. One, it must make my coarse and unruly mane of hair less of a hassle to manage. Two, it must not interfere with my ongoing issues of shedding and scalp irritation. Three, I don’t want to contribute more to landfill waste than absolutely necessary. Four, it needs to clean my hair well without relying on harsh chemicals that irritate my scalp.Yes yes, I know, I’m picky and sensitive about my hair products. But these bars meet 3.5 out of 4 of my needs (we’ll get to that half-point). The shampoo and conditioner are both great. The shampoo lathers and cleans like a liquid shampoo, and the conditioner applies easily and leaves my hair silky, stronger, and full of volume. Point one, check. It also doesn’t seem to irritate my scalp or contribute to shedding. Point two, check. The paper packaging is fantastic… though I’m not a fan of the bars themselves being wrapped in plastic sleeves that aren’t recyclable. Modern Mammals manages to use only cardboard packaging, so I don’t see why that’s not possible here. Still, it’s less plastic than a full bottle, so I’ll give it half a check.Fourth and final point; no harsh chemicals. It scored an 86/100 (“Excellent”) on Yuka, so that’s a check!I’ve tried other bar shampoos before, and they either fall apart too quickly or don’t lather or clean well (Modern Mammals, unfortunately, had both of those problems). So far, that’s not the case here. These bars are sturdy and hold up well to thick hair. Plus, they’re budget-friendly compared to liquid shampoo.I just wish they didn’t use plastic in the packaging, but otherwise, great product!
