LoogMini Acoustic Strings

UPDATE: Loog Customer Service & String Manufacturer made it right. Loog refunded me for the set purchased. And the string manufacturer contacted me and sent me a few extra wound G strings. All in all... GREAT customer service, so i revised rating from 1-star to 4-stars. (I still think this price is a bit steep for what we get here to give it 5-stars).I bought this set to restring my daughter's mini loog acoustic. Unfortunately I could not complete the restring, as the wound 3rd (G) string provided is too short to reach it's now longer tuning peg. this is beyond ridiculous for a $19 set of three very short nylon strings with one string that is unusable...

I was pretty disappointed with these strings. These cost MORE than a normal set of guitar strings. And yet, they don't little metal doodads at the end of the string, that hold the string in place. The instructions included said to tie a double knot at the end of the string, and that will hold it in place instead. But, when I tied the knot in the G string, the whole string started to unrave! Are you kidding me with this mess?! Also, I bought these strings because my son is left handed, so I wanted to string his guitar lefty for him. Now, I can't say for sure, because the whole thing fell apart before I could put it on, but I don't think the G string provided is long enough to reach the post that it needs to wind into. So it may be impossible to string one of these guitars left handed, because the manufacturers didn't want to leave us a few extra inches to play with while we're trying to install their poorly made, difficult to use, product. That sucks, fam. These people need to do better.

This is my first time re-stringing a guitar, so perhaps this is user error, but the heavy string is shorter than the length between the pegs on the bridge & the tubing pegs. Maybe it is supposed to stretch but it doesn’t have any give. Also, all the ends of the strings are straight and don’t have a ball on the end.

This item is described as "all strings have ball ends for easy set up". That is NOT true. These strings have tie ends, and it is impossible to make a knot small enough with the G string to slide it into the peg slot. Extremely frustrating.

Cheap and expensive. Terrible instructions and support.
