OXOGood Grips Seafood Scissors

Well made and easy to use on shrimp. These are very nice shears.

I use these to bleed my fish before they go in the live well. A quick snip of both gills….. it doesn’t get any easier. They come apart for easy cleaning food grade stainless. Highly recommend.

They are strong and durable as I expected from OXO, however I think they are too wide for shelling and deveining shrimp. I'm keeping them because they are nice kitchen shears.

I like it. Right or left hands. It is a heavier style but not like apair of hedge trimers. I would have given it 5 stars but the end of the scissors are not at a small point. Will work but I would like a sharper point. I bought a couple and reordered 2 more so I have a set.

Not sure if it was the lobster or the scissors but it left the shells jagged and some of them fell apart. But they do easily disassemble for washing. That was a plus.

These are very sharp and substantial scissors. Love them. Going to order more.

These seafood scissors are so much better than expected. We had king crab, very tough and sharp shells. They cut through them as if they were paper. Highly recommend

Why would I review scissors? This one is so good that I took the time to write this. High quality metal and plastic, and the fact you can split the scissors in two to wash it is a bonus. Aligning it so it detaches and reattaches takes a few seconds, but all good. Super sharp. It’s early in the relationship, but I really like it!

Easy to use easy to clean

This is very disappointing. I used to like OXO brand. The product is much smaller than looks like in picture and you can only use it to crack very small shell. Even worse, what I received was an open box - seems used.

The scissors broke the first time I used them. I was using them normally, without going full force, nor trying to cut through big pieces of lobster but they broke anyway. I had done my own research to find good and strong seafood scissors and thought these would do the job but they broke only after a few minutes using them. Even if they claim that these are made of stainless steel, it's not possible. The break was very brittle. They broke as if they were made of a material that looks like steel but isn't as strong, some type of composite material (they didn't break or bent like metal does but similar to how glass breaks). I'm very unhappy and I would definitely not recommend these scissors.
