Easy to Install
"Easy to Install and Great Value"The installation was simple, with clear markings for Live, Neutral, and Switched Live wires. It was easy to set up and works well so far. I bought same product from other seller twice of this price. So far happy with purchase

So much better than the old ones. Though LED bulb glows
Works OK in 3 way switch with an LED bulb. The LED bulb, a bit older (5+ years) however retains a slight glow (hardly noticeable) for several hours. Reading online this is due to the light ring on the switch sending a small amount of electricity to the bulb. Older bulbs don't register this small current, but some LEDs do. Consensus is this does not affect or affect to any practical degree the longevity of the LED bulb. No problems over several months. As in a hallway I don't mind the slight glow.Other than that the switch is very nice looking, feels solid and is easy to adjust the delay at setup. Much better than the old style push kind that never lasted.

Good switch ideal for what i needed
I'm using this for an immersion heater timer switch as i have solar it seems to work really well, the touch button is good as well. It has a proper relay switch built inside that you hear click i fitted small led on the front so I know when the timer is running. There is also a trigger terminal so I'm thinking you could make it wifi with a shelly or similar.

Great device
Bought this over the push button version so that we could determine length of time remaining until current is cut off. Specifically this was for a device that overheated if it ran out of water, and so this safeguarded the device (a wallpaper steamer as part of a DIY hay steamer at an equestrian yard). I installed it immediately above the outdoor socket and the numbers are clear, with the unit easy to operate and auto returns to the previously entered time period so it becomes a one button operation. So far so very good!

Good but some careful considerations required - esp. Re LED bulbs and timer adjustment.
The vendor's description says this works with LED lamps. But the installation instructions don't say it is so compatible and I found non-dimable lamps would flicker annoyingly. I hunted around the house and found a few dimable lamps in fixed circuits so swapped them around and the flickering stopped. Also note that whilst the adjustment range is said to be from 12 seconds to 12 minutes the range was 7 seconds to 14 minutes - fine but, I found it impossible to set anything below 55seconds other than 7 seconds! You clearly need a very light touch and lots of patience! Finally, be aware that the screws supplied with this switch are unlikely to be long enough to reach a back box set more than c10mm in the wall - so a quick trip to diy store required. I would have given 4 stars because the device is now working properly but because of the (first two in particular) issues, it took me over an hour to replace a simple wall socket.

Switching for a Lifetime
This is an excellent design, well constructed and will arrive at your door in a surprisingly short time. However, as an electronics engineer, I can tell you that it is not suitable for economy bulbs in some cases, as there is a degree of leakage - very small - but enough to strike an economy bulb. Once struck, the main current begins to flow and uses up the reserve leakage energy, so the light will go out. It then builds once more and strikes the bulb yet again. The end result will be a strobing flash of very short duration ... when switched OFF. It is quite suitable for larger current-demanding lighting, such as filament bulbs or strip lighting. If you want an economy timer that will operate any and all types of lighting, you should buy one with a relay output, the relay simply replacing the normal metal contact style of light switch.I am extremely pleased with this product, as it will indeed, probably last a lifetime.
