Does what it says - it fits a standard thread and the push-fit works a treat.

Good Quality Part Let Down by a Detail
Take care how you install this. The 1/4" push fit coupler is provided without the locking clip which prevents accidental disengagement. If the locking ring is accidentally depressed while the fitting is under pressure, the 1/4" pipe may be ejected by the water pressure. Mine is in a sheltered location at the back of a cupboard but I really wouldn't want it to disconnect should it be jostled by the other contents of the cupboard. Lost a star due to this detail.

What I needed, just when I wanted it.
Easy to screw onto the fitting but make sure that the pipe to the fridge is well seated or a good soaking may follow!

fittings work fine, note that these are for 3/8" outer diameter/ 1/4" inner diameter tube fittings, not 1/4" outer diameter.
