Our toaster broke so needed one fast! This marched our kettle so we went for it. Toasts very fast. Slightly bigger than our old one which is good. Sounds a bit tinny when it pops up the toast but performance matters more of course and it toasts well and fairly evenly (never going to be perfect as most bread is variable in thickness and even slicing).

Toasting bread all different thickness even toasted scones in it. It toasts very quickly.

What a lovely looking toaster but too big for me.

Thisis a lovely toaster that evenly toasts your bread once you have going the correct number on the gauge ,I burnt a few slices before I got the correct setting.the lifting feature is great so you can see how well it's cooking for really fresh or dryer bread its also a very stylish looking toaster that can take even bloomer slices that are a bit wider.

I purchased this toaster following the installation of an electric cooker having used gas for cooking for more than 30 years. I found the grill on the electric cooker very slow in comparison to gas, and it was really annoying having to take 20 mins just to toast a slice of bread! So I looked for a basic toaster that would take my rather badly cut home-made bread or crumpets!This does both. I like the lift-it to check option, and the width and overall size is fine. I personally like quite wel-done bread, so I quite often put the toast through more than one cycle (maybe because my bread-slicing skills lead to doorstops on occasions!) But that is fine, and as I can lift-it part way through to check, the 2nd cycle is rarely fully used.So whilst I can't compare it with a previous toaster, as a new piece of kit to me, it does the job very well and quickly and efficiently.

I very recently reviewed the matching kettle to go with this which was very very good value for money.The toaster is equally as good and worth every penny.There are hundreds, if not thousands, of cheaper products available ( we just threw one out which was rubbish NO brand names mentioned )It is a quality easy wipe clean top.I know exactly what to look for in such products as around 30 years ago ( yes, I am a mature gentleman 🤣🤣🤣 ) I was lucky enough to work with one of the very best / largest small appliance manufacturers in the UKIf I could, I would have given it 10 stars 👍👍👍Hey Amazon, nothing personal, negative or destructive with this complimentary review. 👍

This is the second time I've bought this toaster – the first lasted just under a year. Previous to that I had a Morphy Richards toaster, which lasted for even less time (and had a really annoying design that trapped crumbs in the top). I had thought that these were both reliable brand names, but it seems that they are all made in China these days, to similar low standards. After the last toaster failed I tried another brand (name now forgotten) from a local shop, which toasted one side and the other hardly at all, so you had to turn the toast round and do it twice. That one I returned. I did extenisve research reading both professional and buyer reviews, and came to the conclusion that there is no toaster that browns evenly, and very few that are designed to take other than supermarket standard-size bread without being huge (e.g. Magimix).This is the only toaster I could find that had a sufficiently large slot for homemade bread without taking up an inordinant amount of room on the counter top, and which at least toasted both sides, if with a growing ferocity. After the first one failed I read reviews saying this toaster is unsafe, and certainly the first one I had developed an electrical fault and started to trip the safety fuse. However, it comes with a 2-year guarantee, so if you do decide to go with this one, make sure you register it and get a VAT receipt. And if anyone finds a large-slot toaster that toasts evenly and isn't huge, even if it costs the earth, please spread the good news. I'm sure I'll be in the market for another one soon.

Grund des Kaufes ausgerechnet diesen Gerätes waren die mit knapp 17cm etwas längeren Toastschlitze,als alle anderen "Zwei-Scheiben-Toaster",welche von ihrer Dimension her ein problemloses Toasten von Schwarzbrot ermöglichen.Leider stellte sich nach ersten Anwendungen aber heraus, dass für Schwarzbrot die max. einstellbare Toastzeit zweifach angewendet werden muss, für gefrorenes Brot ist u. U. auch das nicht ausreichend, (abhängig von Brotsorte und Scheibenstärke).Deshalb ein Sternchen Abzug.Zu bemerken ist noch, dass manche Modelle (Artikeleschreibung) in UK- Ausführung (Netzstecker) geliefert werden,und der Toaster sonst einen vernünftigen Eindruck macht.

È tutto bellissimo ma la presa inglese è un problema.Nell’annuncio non era scritto e mi sono trovata una presa inglese attaccata al filo che ovviamente ho dovuto far tagliare perdendo la garanzia.La prossima volta scrivete chiaramente questi particolari anche perché lo stesso giorno ho comprato anche un bollitore della stessa marca e quello è arrivato con la spina corretta.
